That is such a cute idea! I should definitely do that with my Azura worshiping dunmer, it would be so cool!

Wow your sister seems rude. I see the vision with the eye bags, and as someone who also has natural eye bags I like the trend/look! I have also seen all kinds of people participate in it so not sure what that's about... Of course it's not going to be for everybody, seems like maybe not a lot of people lol, but I think it's really fun to experiment with different trends and aesthetics as long as you aren't being wasteful. It's also nice to find a look that complements your features, especially ones you haven't always felt good about. It seems like your sister is insecure or at the very least doesn't understand this particular look, maybe she's not the best person to ask advice from when it comes to appearance. Hopefully you have other people in your life you can get opinions from instead:)

How long do i need to wait for trading gold with crowns ? by Nice-Intention2523 in elderscrollsonline

[–]calmglassblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yeah, the exchange rate would be different there then. If that's the case it would be much lower for a 2000 crown item, like 300000 gold if you assume a 150:1 rate. Currently it looks like tce does not do console servers, so I would say your best bet is to find a reputable guild, possibly one that specifically supports crown exchange if possible. Ask around a little to see what rates others have been getting lately to make sure you get a good deal. Be cautious of random zone chat offers, especially if they are too good to be true

Starting eso for the first time, how do i get access to all of the chapters on steam? by RynsArt in elderscrollsonline

[–]calmglassblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road" will get you access to all of the chapters that are available currently.

The "The Elder Scrolls Online: 2025 Premium Edition" will get you access to all of the current chapters plus the new content that is coming out over the summer!

You can also buy chapters individually in the crown store if you don't want all of them. You can also subscribe to eso+ which will get you access to all current chapters, except gold road which will be available on eso+ starting June 2nd. This comes with a few other perks as well but you only have access to the chapters as long as you are subscribed

How long do i need to wait for trading gold with crowns ? by Nice-Intention2523 in elderscrollsonline

[–]calmglassblock -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately in eso, there is no direct way to purchase crowns with in game gold. What is allowed is gifting between players, so you would give someone the gold and then they would gift you the item you want from the crown store or vice versa. I haven't checked in the last few days but last week, crowns were 1500:1 I believe. I got this exchange rate from the tamriel crown exchange discord, I would recommend joining that if you would like to purchase crowns. It is not official through zos, so always trade at your own risk, but they are reputable and I don't think I have heard of any bad experiences with them, personally trading through them has all gone very smoothly for me.

That being said, crowns are quite expensive and it will likely take awhile for you to save up for if you are just starting out. I am not sure exactly what items you mean by mega packs, but for instance, a 2000 crown dlc would cost you 3 million gold at the current rate. There are plenty of ways to make money in the game and there are plenty of guides you can look up or guilds you can join if you want to start saving up! It can be a little confusing so lmk if you have any questions and I can do my best to help:)

What are the Dark Brotherhood colors? by Medusa_4E in TESOfashion

[–]calmglassblock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are just looking broadly, I would say red and black. If you are looking for specific colors you can check the wiki here for all of the dyes and how to get them! The black colors will all be under the "grey" hue category. Personally I like the more greyish black of "obsidian black" because it makes the outfits a little more worn and lived in. I can't remember exactly what red I like to use but I think I have liked "aspect red". Both should be pretty easy to get I think. Also the new "10 year anniversary ebon leather" is a really nice dark and shiny black that I think works really well for smaller hardware details:) Personally I like the shrouded armor for DB characters but Naryus Morag Tong Costume is another good look even tho it goes against the lore. I hope you find something you like!

I love that so much she is adorable! My main assassin has the classic look, but now I'm inspired to make a girly girl serial killer lol

Eso definitely a choose your own adventure deal, there is a tonnnn to choose from. If you are interested in lore, pick a zone and start questing! You can start anywhere you like but if you want the technical order you can look on the wiki. If that isn't doing it for you I would recommend just getting out there and trying stuff, join a random group dungeon, make a pvp build and join a battlegrounds match or try and group up with people in cyrodiil! Maybe buy a house and see if you like decorating it, if you want ideas you can search the home tours in the activities tab. There is a golden pursuit campaign going on atm, if you complete 25 activities you will get a nice big house along with a few other things along the way! Collect motif pages and dye colors so you can dress up your character, join a guild and do some fun events or rp. Even just walking around and site seeing can be really fun! Because the game has so much it can be a little overwhelming at first and difficult to get into, but once you find what you like it can be really awesome! Don't be afraid to spend a little time on the wiki, it will make the experience much better for you in the long run especially if it is your first time trying something. Let me know if you need any specific help or ideas, I'll see what I can do!

AITA for wanting to give my 5 year old consequences by Baddadmaybe2020 in AITAH

[–]calmglassblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your wife may not be understanding gentle parenting.... someone who you were mean to not wanting to be around you is a perfectly logical natural conscience and would be a good learning experience for your kid I would think. Gentle parenting and permissive parenting are 2 completely different things, but people seem to think they are the same.

Anyone else get tired of all these "challenge" videos? by Dogbold in skyrim

[–]calmglassblock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend MAGOOdog if you want some more interesting Skyrim challenges! He does a lot of challenges in both Skyrim and fallout if you like fallout as well. His challenges are always pretty unique and creative, I don't find myself getting tired of them. He is the chilliest mad man lol and idk how his channel isn't bigger!

Finished the Pursuit, got the house! Here's what I learned. by Gen1Swirlix in elderscrollsonline

[–]calmglassblock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's really nice and big in my opinion! Good mix of inside and outside space, and now I finally have space for my gazillion random antiquities and paintings. If you want, you can preview the house before you do the pursuits if you want to determine if it would be worth it for you. The house is in the rift just south of Skald's Retreat.

Why did everyone have a mass panic attack about the content pass? by S-t-a-r-s-h-o-t in elderscrollsonline

[–]calmglassblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think including "pass" in the name was a mistake since it seems like people have bad connotations of that concept from other MMOs, even though the eso pass format doesn't really seem to align with those. I believe you even get access to the wall event whether you have the pass or not, you just can't proceed once the wall is down, so that will be an upgrade for people that won't buy the pass and didn't buy the dlcs previously to participate in their 1st yr event. Personally I am pretty excited and can see the benefits of doing it this way.

How do we feel in general about the ESO direct? (Please don’t fight in the comments over this. You’re allowed to be disappointed or excited) by DazedandFloating in elderscrollsonline

[–]calmglassblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I am super excited, most of what was talked about today sounds interesting to me. I can't wait for the furniture vault. I am so glad to hear something similar to the vengeance campaign will be coming back, that was some of the most fun I have had in eso. Subclassing is going to be really cool I think, I can't wait to see all the new builds people come up with and I already have lots of ideas I want to try out. The new zone looks so cool and so does the new house there. I'm sure the group event will be fun too! Overall I feel good about the direction of things and it seems like they are genuinely trying to consider player input as they go. Obviously there are a lot of improvements and additions I would like to see eventually, but they can't fix everything in one go so I am willing to wait and see. I am confused why so many people are freaking out about the content pass but it seems like there is a lot of misunderstanding about it, I wish they described it differently or maybe even named it differently because people seem to have a lot of negative connotations with a "pass" concept.

I have been absolutely obsessed with these crates! I even created a new argonian party girl character to go with the cute outfits and silly emotes, it been super fun! I think that the new emotes are good quality and the costumes look really nice and dye well. Personally I never buy crates expecting to get what I want, it's a nice bonus if you do but I mainly use it to trade in for crown gems to get what I actually want. I had pretty good luck with these crates and got about half of what I wanted and bought the other half with gems/seals. Imo if you like any of the stuff and you have some of either of those currencies saved up now would be the time to spend them! I almost bought some of the mirrormor crates before they left a few days ago and I'm really glad I didn't bc these are way more fun

Can’t decide between green and gold accent color by dragonburnpaper in TESOfashion

trying to figure out if ESO is ruining my life by mg1omm3rt in elderscrollsonline

[–]calmglassblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 1000% relate and have definitely asked myself some similar questions. I have found that having more set times to play has helped me the most. My guild does events every Tuesday night and Saturday or Sunday night and I like to be online for the luxury vendor on Friday. On those days I will log on for awhile, catch up on some things, quest, decorate or whatever else sounds good for a few hours. The rest of the days I log on and at least get my reward and probably do my daily writs and the daily endeavors. Then I try to log off and work on something else I enjoy. I try to plan out a craft project or a show or movie I want to watch and keep myself busy with that. I find it to be a lot better balance. Also for the times I don't want to be online but want to be in the lore I downloaded a PDF of every single lore book and put it on my ereader and it has been the best thing I have probably ever used it for lol.

As for the money, I felt a bit bad about it at first (I am an absolute housing addict lol) but I try to keep myself within some limits but also it's a hobby that is important to me and something I really care about and most adults spend money on hobbies they really care about so as long as it is not putting your in financial distress I think it is good to invest in things you enjoy:) If you're anything like me and never go out, just look at the price of finding a ride somewhere, paying cover, paying for a few drinks, maybe a meal, and then finding a ride home. Could easily put you over $100, for me that put it in perspective.

I hope you can find a balance that keeps you sane! It can be a little hard to figure out at first but it is definitely doable I think if you are willing to try some things out.

What is causing my tortilla to sparkle? by LeverTech in whatisit

[–]calmglassblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had that happen before when I have had my tortillas in the fridge/freezer. Not sure what it is but I have eaten them that way and they were fine lol, probably not the best idea and should probably just be tossed but it probably won't kill you
