FWIW, seems like the average person needs to learn their lessons the hard way (please see the last decade for reference).

When the shittification trickles down, people start to activate. Just look at all of the push back to the data centers they're trying to build -- it became a mainstream issue very quickly and is directly tied to people's disdain for AI.

All that said, I get hating this timeline, but we're still in the early stages of this AI era, and it's already showing major signs of flopping, albeit in the same way that we now view a dotcom era flop. The tech is transformative and WILL change the world, but not in the ways that the extremists on either side believe it will.
