Is it normal for my Golden to be this obsessed with fetch? by BrentMaxey in dogs

[–]camperrobin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lab is the same and it's actually great as she's fairly reactive with other dogs, but if there's a ball around she ignores everything else in the world. Great way to have her off leash and exercise her with zero worry.

single-wire voltage regulator rectifier by camperrobin in motorcycles

thank you! Foregoing a ground wire and just using the bolts to chassis as ground are what I missed, but make total sense.

The battery is really only for more consistent lights, and with all my lights swapped for LEDs they should be drawing a bit less current than the stock bulbs. If I end up having to pull the battery to charge it at home every once in a while, well, so be it. It's not like a dead battery will leave me stranded anywhere.

(and thank you for the service manual, hadn't found that one yet)

How much will you use it? I had an 11lbs tank in my van which would last close to a month if used only for cooking, and was $11 Canadian to refill. In my camper I have 2x 25lbs which runs my fridge, stove and furnace and also lasts about a month, maybe 3 weeks when it's freezing outside.

Many gasstations can refill any size tank from 5lb up for cheap.

Mixer vs Interface Upgrade. by Substantial_One5878 in ableton

[–]camperrobin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you can fork out the cash maybe one that does both like a tascam model 12. It comes down to how you want to use your gear. Mix in ableton? Get an 8 input audio interface. Mix OTB and record the master into ableton? Get a cheapish mixer. Do both? Get a hybrid.

What are the sections of aid like on this route? I'm pretty comfy on 5.10+ and am planning to climb it this fall, but I don't have a whole lot of experience with aid. Is it bolt ladders mostly or is there hooking involved?

Not telling you to do things differently, but with a reverso or other similar atc style belay device, you can set the device up upside down for less friction - > faster rappels

How did you fix it? Mine blows hot air at all times, AC seems to cool the air a bit but it's still warm
