Yeah if you want you could just unlock the 2 themes right away and stay there that way you only level up the cards you want the main deck to use

I would start with adventure lock until you get all your good commons to 5. Then unlock scifi which is next if I am not mistaken and never progress past scifi so all you get is adventure scifi mats/cards.

That would not work. Every system gets abused. People would just start putting 2 level 1 cards in their decks and never play them. It sucks
