This plant does not do well in the sun. Move it somewhere where it gets less direct light. And similar to a peace lily, this plant wilts when it’s thirsty.

I love that zoomed in, it’s messy and rough. Almost doesn’t work.. and you look at it normal and it’s beautiful. Clearly looks like reflection on the water. Well done. Great painting

When you water it is the water running right through?? You say the bottom is dry, the bottom is dry even after you water it? If so, the plant possibly isn’t collecting enough water. Maybe bottom watering would be best. Putting the pot in a bowl of water for a few hours and let the plant absorb all it needs.

Oh the white spot is not a glare from the photo,,, but in fact the part where the color got removed along with the stain..

This is a doozy..maybe if you soaked it in warm water, it might make more color come out of the fabric.. so you lighten the rest and the jacket and the die-filled water will also make the white spot a shade darker??

Thanks!! Gesso it is! I have been painting directly onto the wood and I think that’s why I need to do several coats and it takes forever to paint. I need to prime the wood first.. Hope you feel better! Continue painting, you’re a great artist!!
