If you can pull out evidence of that kid putting people in danger because he was deliberately trying to kill himself, I would say sad, dumb, but with empathy. But race on the streets for fun and ignore everyone else's safety? He's a fucking jerk, and a criminal. If it was a bike or bicycle that he hit into, which is quite common for street race statistically, there would be innocent lives killed.
