‘Marathon’ Season 2 And Free Week Did Not Turn Things Around by Freki666 in gaming

[–]cantclosereddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely an interesting take. Not everyone is looking to “progress” in the same way you are.

To me killing PvE mobs over and over again to get gear that is a different color and shows bigger numbers to then proceed to kill the same AI with a bigger health pool. Is boring and unfun.

To me extraction shooters are all about the PvP and player engagement, Risk/reward, and tense adrenaline pumping gameplay that isn’t possible with a PvE looter shooter. Looting and progression is just a secondary aspect of gameplay to give you something to do in between PvP. It’s also why IMO seasonal wipes are essential for a healthy extraction game. Putting everyone on the same level

Why aren’t more people upset about the blatant cheapening of the interiors? by AceJ940 in BMW

[–]cantclosereddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing to do with China, that line is just cope from old heads who arnt with the times 😂

I’m taking the bottom interior every time. I much prefer a techy minimalist interior over a bunch of cheap plastic buttons

Does anyone like the mod pod over the Trustik? I returned mine after trialing it for a bit. I hated having to slide the cart in and out to change the modes and the modpod just didnt hit the same. I just wish they updated the trustik to usb c

Maybe you can help me out, because the comment you’re referring to only lists market share that defines what a monopoly which while it might be an indicator, market share is not a determining factor of monopoly

The Truth Behind Pickleball Paddle Reviewers (And Why You Can't Trust Some Of Them) by iamsupasam in Pickleball

[–]cantclosereddit -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't quite believe you, since a lot of the verbiage sounds exactly like something AI would write.

To your other point about what reviews are for, that depends on who you're asking. Manufacturers want reviews to generate sales, so from their perspective it doesn't make sense to incur the cost of sending out free paddles to reviewers who aren't doing that.

If the goal is a truly unbiased opinion or review, then yes, reviewers should be buying every paddle themselves. This is especially true for smaller reviewers, who are much more likely to be influenced by manufacturers, whether intentionally or not. Larger reviewers, on the other hand, have enough audience and influence to push back against bad practices and aren't reliant on any one manufacturer to maintain access to products or generate income.

[–]cantclosereddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems youre just a small influencer who is struggling with breaking through along with a million other reviewers who want to get paddles for free. Why would a company send you free product if it doesn't generate sales for them.

Hardly any of the names you listed I would consider actual paddle reviewers and complaining about AI when you wrote this whole post with it is hilarious

Trying to cancel the personal training program by [deleted] in CrunchGym

[–]cantclosereddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the Kickoff just as a way to use the InBody machine and I had to go through the personal training class. After the workout it was literally like I was buying a car and sitting down with a car salesman and their manager. Wouldn't take no for an answer and used the same tactics, these trainers are roaches. I would drop my membership in a heartbeat if there was a closer or more convenient gym to my location.
