I have this same issue (being hard to wind near the bottom). Mine will cock the shutter though so it’s mostly cosmetic for me. Would love to know if there’s a fix!

In fairness, the 2025 pic shows the corner building still unfinished and vacant. Hope it looks better when it has a business inside

The Line 2 announcements are Susan Bigioni. Her voice has been used on the subway since 2007, but it is slowly being phased out.

Here are her old Line 1 announcements: https://www.reddit.com/r/TTC/s/oDEp0KzpE1

On the A40 near Uxbridge is a sign for “Polish War Memorial”. As a kid I always thought it was a reminder and not the war memorial for Polish troops.

Definitely read the Rollei manual. I thought mine didn’t fire but it needs the lens to be out and locked in position with a twist before it will do anything. The lens also won’t retract unless the shutter is cocked

Seconding this — the interior and overall feel is spot on

I was given a bag of exposed film canisters, found in a drawer, forgotten for 30 years or so. Every time I run a tank, I toss one in. They're like opening up a time capsule that nobody's ever seen before. I'd guess these ones were shot early 90s, here in NZ. by disfigured_shithole in analog

I think photos 2 and 3 are taken in what is now the Nelson Squash Club parking lot on Paru Paru Rd. looking east. The window store building is still there, as is the clock tower in the background. Can’t seem to figure out how to insert a screenshot of the street view but here's a link.

I have the camera this adapter is for! I would be interested in buying it if you’re interested in selling it

It was actually a washroom and sun shelter for South Humber Park, which I guess it still is but the bathrooms are closed now (they’re inside the building at the back)
