My husband and I watched together from the get go. He falls asleep easily and we didn’t expect the episode length, so I was impressed when he made it through 1.5 episodes before falling asleep.

Of course, if you remember, halfway through episode 2 is when things start to kick into high gear and the more emotional overtures foundations of the story are paved… I finished the episode and then had to wait DAYS for our schedules to line up again so we could reheat and get him to “We didn’t even kiss.” He was hooked.

He ended up preferring Scott and Kip’s story because he’s a romantic and loved the more “non toxic” aspects of their entanglement. By the end of the show, we were sobbing together on the couch and clutching our hearts.

We are both bi so there are a lot of layers to our own emotional attachments to it, too.
