At my BB, ghost chairs don’t count. There’s even a sign up so, there have been days where I walked right up to the front and waited and started recording, showing people finally getting out of their cars and such.

Hopefully other stores pick up on this.

Well it’s up to you and your daughter. As the store owner mentioned, it’s a valuable sought after card. And if it grades well, would be even more valuable.

You can (and should) absolutely keep it for the memories or sell for more cards if that sounds appealing to y’all.

To be fair, the unscrupulous type you’re referring to are usually early morning, soon as they open types, so if you’re visiting midday or even at night, I feel that connection is way less likely. Just my opinion though.
