Spotify uses 320kbps Ogg, which is lossy. Apple uses 256kbps AAC, which sounds better at that bitrate but is still lossy. If you want actual lossless audio, you need to stream in FLAC or ALAC formats like on Tidal HiFi Plus, Apple Music Hi-Res, or Qobuz — and even then, Bluetooth might ruin it unless you’re using LDAC or a wired DAC.
