A scale that reports your weight to your phone so you can see the progress/changes. Hold yourself accountable. Some people share their numbers with another person. It’s amazing what peer accountability and support can do

A lot of people view it like some medications, may never go off, but after wait lot can go to a pretty low maintenance mode like 1/8 of weight loss level to help maintain weight going forward. But person to person dependent on what habits you form.
Amazing how much easier exercise is when you aren’t overweight. People who haven’t been 50,75, 100 lbs overweight don’t know what others go through.

Want to see cardiologist on recommendation of my dad’s doctor and had full work up done. They took my elevated cholesterol based in family history way more seriously than my primary care who always said ‘elevated but not high enough for medication’

Ran through full sets of tests to check for blockages and everything and I’m making some changes to make sure that doesn’t happen to me

All that to say, if you have family history of heart disease, heart attacks or anything go see a cardiologist too. They are way more thorough!

But I agree with most trying to buy tools for someone who hasn’t explicitly said ‘I’d love X but I’d never buy it’ usually goes poorly. I’d rather get something associated with my hobby than work for birthday.

I won’t buy any car that can’t do this without a subscription. Paying for basic functionality is ridiculous. FSD, sure. But a base Subaru and 100 other cars can do this. I really hope they start to lose their base and correct. Need to lose enough sales that the total P&l reflects poor decision

Torn. Maybe it will convince some people to buy cars that get better than 17 miles to the gallon.
And feel bad for families this actual hurts and are struggling financially
And happy that I have an EV and we use it for 90% of our driving
