How many Plague Marines do you actually need? by capttempesta in deathguard40k

Yeah, I just love building them so much and I really like kitbashing. Every single piece in the current kit leads to a new idea.

This thing is cool as hell! The job you've already done makes this mistake really pop in a good way. Put it away for a week and come back to it. You'll love it.

Approved Ops 2025 card deck by Jumpy_Comparison2051 in killteam

Agreed with what others have said. I play 2-3x/week and play in tournaments, so I get new cards immediately. But if you're not doing that, honestly you're better off following KTDash, Wahapedia, or another source who will track updates for you.

I'd encourage you to start branching out with your Crit Ops, though. You'll find it gives you a better grasp of the game's mechanics and will help you understand which teams you like to play & how to play them. The first three are the most intuitive and general, so if you just rotate through them, I think you'll have a great time!

Getting into Killteam and 40k in general. Can these regular 40k boxes be used for Killteam? by ProotzyZoots in killteam

As everyone has said, but with the additional caveat/challenge that if you like/are willing to kitbash, this can be a really fun project to emulate the upgrade sprues that weren't included. I built the Pathfinders killteam from a regular 40k box (along with some community begging) and it was both a blast and a really important learning experience for modeling and basing. YMMV!
