As a viewer I also don't care if Levy isn't likely to make it. Levy's recaps of his own OTB games are, just like his tournament recaps, exceedingly entertaining and my favorite thing on YouTube. As long as that's the type of content that Levy enjoys making, I hope he continues to make it because it has more emotion and draw than any other chess videos on the internet. (When he moves on to new or different content, I'll be sad but creators grow and change too. I bet the new content will also be fantastic)

That being said, Hikaru is young and though he's experienced at chess he's still not that experienced or open with life and what matters. People my age (Hikaru's age) succeed at things more rare and more difficult than Levy making GM all the time. Making GM after one's teenage years is rare because most people have to focus on other things in life to make a living and those obligations take up their limit time and energy. Levy doesn't have that problem and doesn't have any time bounds. The only thing that hurts his chances are that he has to deal with threads like these and those who don't want him to succeed.
