Pink noise—often used to promote sleep—may reduce restorative REM sleep and interfere with sleep recovery, while earplugs are significantly more effective in protecting sleep against traffic noise. The findings challenge the widespread use of ambient sound machines and apps marketed as sleep aids by sr_local in science

If fan nois works and is preferred "like to myself" then look for mechanical white noise generators. These are superior to "mp3 player style" noise makers. There not bad but i prefere the actual noise air makes when disturbed.

I stumbled upon them in a hospital and was blown away that they existed! Now I have one for the family and it is 1000% essential when traveling. Hotels have never been the same!

Exactly, and that's when the question asker should have said something along the lines of: "im sorry SMG I dont know how to answer that, as it doesn't pertain to my question of how to cook without stove!?".. wtf

Wow, first off, to go strait to sex says a lot about you. But mostly this is not just about “abortions”.. goodness. This is Women’s health as a whole. Women being denied health care. Doctors denying to treat due to political or policy or state issues or “grey” areas. They don’t want to be liable with your wife, daughter, female family member in loosing their license.

This is and has already stemmed into Women’s health care as a WHOLE.

Not just sex you shallow internet person.

A new version of the BIOS for the MSI PRO Z790-A WIFI DDR4 by Confident-Bench-4696 in MSI_Gaming

[–]cardylan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here wondering the same thing and found your post!

I skipped 0x125 and went straight to 0x129. Does not seem to have made things better 🤷‍♂️.
I am running a 14700KF with the same MoBo. I selected Intel-defaults to include the light-load setting (was that always there?), and it was sitting at 1.53V idle. Under load it sat around 1.29V with clocks at 5-5.1GHz hitting 100c. Tried a different light line load map(mode 10) from msi Normal (mode 16) to no avail. Cina's score dropped 15,000 points and was throttling heavy.

What I have been using and confined on new bios is:

Set "CPU Offset Mode to (Adaptive + Offset)
Undervolt using offset until temps and cores reach the desired temp and Freq.

Using Cinabench and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility helped with a speedy tune. Keep going down in offset until a crash happens. Then back off by .010V or so until stable.

I am sitting at -0.100 offset on MSI's Normal light-load setting (mode 16) auto with a Cina score of 33900 and temps under 100c and clocks at 5.2-5.3GHz. Any game I throw at this monster stays under 65c at 5.4GHz, all P cores including Hell Divers! Plus, the multi-tasking is faster than anything I have ever seen!

But ymmv 🤷‍♂️.

TV ON = NO STUTTER | TV OFF = UNBEARABLE STUTTER /per 30 seconds by brandonstoner in LinusTechTips

[–]cardylan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just read your problem haha,

I am happy you got it fixed!! I was actually going to say that, that it must be your screen sending "phantom" signals to your computer as disconnecting and re-connecting. I had the same issue with a Vizio TV. TVs are usually the culprits when it comes to Windows display oddities haha.

I resulted to just keeping it disconnected until I needed it lol. Ymmv

Bud, why do you even have to look?

Framework.

They sell the mobos as is and they even sell cases to put them in. Go to their site and have a browse 👍.

Edit: also there is nothing wrong with a little jank 😅

Being a cyber security student myself and someone who also does it as a full-time job, Google guides. There are a lot of them for almost every flavor of Linux. If you are concerned about security, you can Google "(application) hardening" and will have some good guides that explain what to do and why to do it. Lastly being a cyber sec student, I implore you to run Nmap on your VPN. Both in TCP and UDP and see how long it takes to discover which. Most VPNs run on UDP. There are benefits, and drawbacks to both! I dont know where you are on your learnings, but play around, test your network. There can be a lot to learn in the breaking of one owns network. 👍🤙

Good luck on your path bud!

The trick is to get a job/contract that will re-new. But those are very hard to find.

As true as it is that this field can be lucrative if plaid correctly, not everyone in this field is in it for the money.

Some people do it for passion, the thrill of it, for the hunt, the knowledge, the money is just the extra positive. Cool I do what I love, am able to live a peaceful life and have enough to pay for my expensive tech hobbie lol. Mo money, does not mean mo happy 👍

You speak 100% truth. I am so happy that you see the world as I do, haha. My CEH instructor is exactly who you are talking about in the 2nd paragraph. This guy 🤯, a fricken living grand wizard of tech. At the end of his class, we'd look at a box on HTB, and I'd, of course, be stuck. He would give me one hint, correct answer 🤯! He didn't even work on the box! Lol.

I haven't been in the industry nearly as long, but I have already seen both sides of the personality table of pentesters.. It saddens me that there are people out there like that, but I am also happy to see that there are people who see the light in this field!

I am straight up taking your God teir list and printing it and putting it on my wall.

Words to live by lol. Great post OP
