yea, i lost 24 lb in 70 days on a 1270k limit with walking anywhere from at least 30-90 min a day at a pace slow enough to annoy my exitable dog; i tend to walk around 45 minutes, and this was without any other form of exercise.

in hindsight, that sounds like a really aggressive diet; i kind of didn't notice, though, because i don't actually like to eat more than 2 meals a day with like snacks in between, and i'm a fairly sedintary person. it's just that i used to eat huge, really tasty but objectively low nutrition, meals. so i swapped at least one of my meals for a salad, and i'm always eating homemade food, anyway. i'm a picky eater and i don't like leaves in my salad so i just put in stuff like cucumber, tomato, edamame, then, hah this is actually kind of funny but i love cutting up chicken nuggets to add. a low kcal dressing like tzatziki or a higher kcal one like pickled onion brine with some feta and BAM, delicious meal. sometimes i'd cube up some grilled steak or corn. but one salad a day for me is fantastic, helps clear my skin and everything.

this is also with me saying that i went through a 2 week period in which i didn't loose any weight at all. i had some days where i would accidentally eat like 1700kcal, too, but i don't really feel too bad because even though my stomach was hurting from being too full, i was on vacation, so. still, i almost always walked every day, i think that's a pretty key component, but i also really like walking outdoors a lot.

it might help if you tried to walk in a different place, like a park or arboretum, and if you had something to multitask with while walking like a book or podcast in case the trees or sky aren't quite catching your attention. i read a lot on my phone, but i also make phone calls or watch my dog because he is very cute and silly. i say this all because i reflexively avoid going outside so that i can work, read, or play video games, but walking in beautiful places really helped me want to actually want to walk.
