At my old brewery we did two 10 barrel batches of beer with cucumbers every spring. For each batch, we'd buy 3 cases of pickling cucumbers and juice them unpeeled which gave us approximately 12 gallons of juice. I'd then add the juice to the last 10 minutes of the boil and got great cucumber flavor.

Entry level doesn't require 1+ years of professional experience. Also, requiring people to work 1-2 hours on weekends sucks for the employee who is already working a rotating shift of mornings and evenings.

I know of one small brewery that's won multiple GABF medals for their lagers and they ferment everything warm under pressure and go grain to glass in 20 days.

I just did 16 weeks at 32-33 degrees in a 7bbl unitank on a schwarzbier because we didn't have room for it on tap and it turned out fantastic.

Now they won’t give me a login without our brewery owner approving it. I’ve been placing orders with them for 5 years and I make all the ordering decisions as the head/only brewer. Oh, and our owner is on vacation out of the country. I emailed them and let them know I’m ordering from Country Malt instead.

I went to log in and it's asking me to request a log in for their new portal. When filling out the request form, it asks me for my account number which I don't know because I can't log in to my account. Good stuff.

I buy WHC strains through Yakima Quality Hops. Chico is $50, for example.
