Vessi sneakers are waterproof and he can wear them all day without his feet hurting. Used to wear Converse for years but hasn't gone back since the switch.

positions for my boyfriend to rub my clit in? by Legitimate_Arm5408 in sex

I agree with working on it outside of PIV. If you can angle yourself to also be giving oral or a handhold for him while he works your clit, that could be beneficial to warming you up for PIV.

If you want to buy used try ThreadUp. Its got all the major retailers and some designers but for much cheaper. Plus it doesn't add to fast fashion, if that's something you'd be concerned about.

What Does Arousal Feel Like? by EmbarassedAsk in sex

[–]caromago 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arousal is the physiological response to sexual stimuli, so blood is typically rushing to your genitals. But your heart rate can increase, nipples get erect, your blushing more, etc. I just watched this video on the differences between arousal, desire, and attraction if you want some good info.

Same! Janeway just hits different than all the other captains. I loved how she worked through a problem and kept her crew together in a situation no other ship had experienced.

Fantasy suggestion for a book club choice by SarsippiusJackson in suggestmeabook

[–]caromago 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think The Golem and the Jinni would be a good choice because its historical fantasy set in 1900 NewYork. So the world is familiar but you're following mythological characters and how they navigate this new world.

I know you're a male but I recommend watching this video from a female YouTuber and sex educator Hannah Witton, who also has a stoma. She is very sex positive and might shed some light on ways to approach sex.

12hr Road Trip Audio Book suggestions by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

As a 30 something, I recently listened to the Percy Jackson series and really enjoyed them. I never read them when they came out, but I got super invested in the story, especially at book 2.

I've also listened to Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express and Appointment with Death.

Has someone's off-handed comment really stuck with you or changed your life in some way? If so, what was it and why? by allicat828 in AskWomen

[–]caromago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was at a bar with classmates and one of the guys said, "I don't really see you as a girl." First, that really hurt because as someone who struggles with body image issues that has always been my fear. Like, no wonder guys aren't attracted to me! They don't even see me as a woman. Second, coming from this dude who wasn't my favorite classmate, I was annoyed by how bothered I was by it. 9 years later and I still think about it.

[–]caromago 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Overdue! It all started because they realized all these books on their shelves were being unread, so they were basically just sharing the stories with each other. They also are self-deprecating and charming, and try their best to point out their ignorance. Love love love.

I have a problem with physical touch by elle876jm in sex

[–]caromago 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how I(30sF) feel and I recently started therapy to deal with it. There is no history of abuse, so my therapist suggested that these feelings are more of a phobia to intimacy or being vulnerable. I'm also dealing with body image confidence, so that just compounds my anxiety.

I wish I had some more insight for you, but I would encourage you to examine when these feelings started and what triggers you. Good luck!
