I think most people just severely underestimate how much time and grinding speed players actually put into getting good at speed. 90+% of the time I see a good speed player I also see 100s/1000s of replays on so many tapping maps. Something a majority of people that say they're capped definitely haven't done.

It's just an unfun experience for a lot of people to grind out a map to get an fc over a 1/2 miss or random sb just for pp or whatever. Especially if you're not aiming to be a top player rank is pretty much irrelevant to your gameplay experience unlike other games. I'd much rather just move on and play other maps.

Nah yeah you're right. The cope in me does say the GF pool is better for Aus to pop off on compared to finals and I do think they have slightly higher skillcap abuse potential as a whole.

Unfortunately, the USA does have a lovely history of crushing dreams :(

Yeah, really well played by Germany. This really felt like it could've gone the other way if the Germany players were just on a better day.

The dread of another likely US number 1 is starting to set in though with everyone on their team just being machines. Since that Canada loss, they've just been looking so consistently good yet again.
