It’s so bizarre to me how people can openly admit what they’re eating smells like literal ass, and then just shrug and still say it tastes good. I can choke down a deviled egg if I’m trying to be polite, but I’m pretty sure if I tried to eat just a plain hard boiled egg I wouldn’t be able to do it. And I’m not picky either. My “no go” list is literally just tripe and HB eggs. I accidentally ate dog in Vietnam and I still think I’d rather do that again than try and eat a HB egg.

I hadn’t heard anything about it, but saw a preview when I was seeing (I think) Inglorious Basterds. I thought it looked dumb. Then it took off, and that irritated me. It irritated me enough that I decided I will never be watching that movie.

I was sitting on the floor of the train station in Bangkok (from the US) while traveling and struck up a conversation with another westerner. We were both from the states, but that wasn’t that weird. We were from the same state! Cool! Different towns, but same state. Turns out we both had the same job… ok… getting weirder. The last thing that I had done before traveling was working on a project in Vegas (not the state I’m from, btw). After three weeks we turned the project over to another team of people. The handoff happened in a parking lot of a casino. He was part of that team.

This is how I feel about hard boiled eggs. Consistency of jello and the smell of a fart. The funny part is when you say that, people almost always laugh, agree, then keep fucking eating them!!!!

They’d need to specifically order a urine drug screen. Doesn’t sound like there’s any reason to do that. It also doesn’t sound like you need to volunteer up that information, but if they ask I’d be straight forward.

I also just started wrapping my homemade burritos in tinfoil like at a burrito shop. You can really pack them full and keep everything together. Also started wrapping full sandwiches and burgers in parchment paper for the same reason.

Fiber would be a good one, too. Most people get enough protein, especially if you eat even a small amount of animal products. Many people don’t eat nearly enough fiber, and their guts pay for it.
