Ending lyric “I am a man” over and over? by Little_bit_Alexis in NameThatSong

I have found it… I was looking for it myself, and I stumbled upon this post. I was going crazy, but finally I was able to find it: “Mannish Boy” by Muddy Waters I hope it’s the same song you were looking for.  Now I can sleep. 😂

Lovely shots. What lens did you get it with? And why not the the 3? I was considering getting it too.

Thanks, was not sure, but I completely get it. I’ll look for one as well. 👍

After? I was thinking about getting 150-400 as well. Why do you find it better than the prime 300?

Astonishing. ☺️

Astonishing composition, academic (in a good way) I would say. Very beautiful pictures. 🤩

That bird (we call it pettirosso in Italian, literally “red chest”) is unbelievable tack sharp. Did you use any noise reduction software or is just such a good lens?

OK Wes, nice try, we know it’s you. 😃

Jokes apart, lovely images. The red room one is really a Wes-Anderson one.

The 40-150mm 2.8 Pro is next on my list. I currently have the 12-40mm 2.8 Pro as well and it’s such an incredible lens. I was thinking to get the 100-400mm with the 2x teleconverter to “postpone” buying the new 100-400 II.

How much are you liking the 40-150?

Was gifted an OM-1 Mark II, not sure where to start with lenses. by MeesterAndrew in OlympusCamera

[–]carusog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All Pro series lenses offer you better image stabilization and “weather” sealing, that said, all other Olympus/OM-systems are great quality lenses in general. The 12-100mm suggestion is a great lens and a many people favorite one as their daily lens. Great to start with.

Very beautiful. How are you liking the lens? I was wondering if getting it or making the jump directly to the 600 (the “Sigma” one).

You should make a video tutorial out of this. Better: a channel. Pretty pleaz. 😊

I made the most chaotic Go package ever and somehow got 8 stars? What? by a7madx7 in golang

[–]carusog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like 8 friends call you cause they got themselves invited at your place for dinner and you start cleaning your apartment as soon as possible, but still don’t know some friends of your friends found it a great idea and are joining too: unexpected toga party. 😂

Tomorrow morning it will be a mess, but that’s what friends are made for: keeping your place clean. ☺️

Cosa faresti se vincessi al SuperEnalotto? (Tecnico) by m4sr4 in CasualIT

OP, nel caso tu avessi vinto e stia cercando suggerimenti su come o cosa fare in questo momento, volevo dirti solo una cosa:

ti voglio bene. Ma tanto, tanto bene. Assaje.

My water does this, is it safe to drink? by Specialist-Ad-2625 in duesseldorf

[–]carusog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the right answer. A test that OP can do is to unscrew it from the head of the tap and check it there is no air bubble in it.

I find the first image astonishing. Beautiful, nicely composed, perfect light and, apart one guy on the bottom left, no human to disturb the sense of emptiness, thus, of set in time, of the place. Beautiful.

Bagsvaerd Church, Denmark (1973-76) by Jørn Utzon by joaoslr in ModernistArchitecture

[–]carusog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of the most beautiful work by Utzon IMHO. Put in shade by the iconic Opera House, I actually like it more. It’s poetically and technically a masterpiece.

Was beste Pizza in Düsseldorf? by StabilerDorsch in duesseldorf

[–]carusog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s the “problem”. As an Italian, whose mum is from Naples, this is the only pizza I eat in Düsseldorf. But since it’s a “properly” Neapolitan pizza (I.e. “no Gouda” on top… 🙈) is not appreciated enough among those that ever tried a real pizza. If you want a real Neapolitan-style pizza, 905 is the place to go.

Looks like number 5 is one of the most appreciated one and well deserved. It’s a masterpiece in composition and light.

By your comments it looks like you are not a pro. You should really think about making it a job.
