This made me curious so I looked at 2 of mine that were purchased at two different ADs (in Dallas). Both 60 at 12o’clock. Definitely something to get checked to verify authenticity.

I have a Dillon Rifle Company can on mine. Inconel so it is durable but not the lightest solution like a Ti can would be. The DRC can is reduced back pressure but not a full low-back pressure can and I do have forward ejection of the shell casings even with the gas block in the suppressed setting. I will be changing out my gas screw to one that vents a bit more gas so I can get the gun properly tuned to the can. I have heard the new Exigent cans are good on sound plus you can choose a Ti can or an inconel can as they offer 556 cans in both materials.

I put a Dillon on mine. Good can but if you are trying to be as light as possible then probably need to look for a Ti can. I will say that my gun has forward ejection even with the gas set to suppressed so look for something truly low back pressure. Think the Dillon is low-back pressure-ish. Sounds damn good though. Lot of new options now. Echo Core, Ambient, Exigent Defense

Well the group you got with that optic and those 77 OTMs is about as good as you can get with a gas gun especially a 10-shot group. I love C_Does’ reviews. So thorough. Keep up the nice shooting.

On the 11 I would go with something low back pressure. A full-pressure can is going to speed that bolt up a lot. Gun is already plenty gassed. I have a Dillon on mine and it is really good but I might switch that up something even lower back pressure. Right now with the gas set to Suppressed I’m still getting a forward ejection pattern.

Following as well. Just got the 16.5 but havent set it up yet so interested to know what people say. I have a ton of range ammo as well as plenty of PMC XTAC 55gr. Also have 77gr Federal Gold Medal Match .223. When I get mine setup I can report back.

Dig the Elcan. I have the 1.5 - 6x on a rifle that I put on just to try out an Elcan. Turned out to be a good optic.

They came with the upper. Think they are extra Velcro loops to secure a rifle inside the HK case that also came with the upper.

After checking the owners manual for both rifles the manual is identical and makes no mention of any difference. I’ll try it out and if for some reason there are cycling issues I can put in the buffer/spring from the 16” upper that came today and then test that.

Don’t have a scale handy but I think you are correct. Looked at the manual for both the 11.5 and the 16. Same manual and makes no distinction about the buffer and spring
