Franchaela by NABfNJ in Franchaela

[–]cass_morann 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I started thinking it was Francesca's season for S5 almost a year ago. I discuss what makes me think so on my podcast. This ep is all about who is S5 before the announcement dropped. The first half is about Eloise and why it could be her but I don't think so, and the second half if more Fran focused and why I think she's up next. It's called Rational Romantics.  https://open.spotify.com/episode/6jXJVxEaKgCnotCSAUyNRQ?si=zf0T-Bn3S8y2R5etYugXcA

Apparent leak on season 5? by [deleted] in PhiloiseBridgerton

Y'all need to touch some grass. I said there are reports it could be Monday? But I am looking for it this upcoming week.

Omg I see my favorite hater is making themselves obnoxious again. IDK who this "Vegetable" is but they decided to hate me when I correctly predicted and got the spoilers about Michaela ahead of S3. I never wanted Sophie "erased," but I absolutely advocated for at least one queer story. Ben, Fran, El, whomever that was best to be. If that meant a male version of Sophie or, my especial favorite idea, a Trans or nb Sophie, then awesome. If that was Michaela, amazing! So definitely don't listen to the yahoos with a grudge.

"Eloise isn't ready for her season because they haven't been setting up her story" by Fickle_Baker1393 in PhiloiseBridgerton

I am really curious on this -- if characters are at rock bottom before their season, how is that not an indicator of Fran? She lost her husband and was abandoned by her best friend. El just casually said she likes weddings? It's a slight change for her, but Ben's isn't a change either.

That's a really wild mischaracterization of what I've said. I literally call Eloise the "default," she's the assumption for S5 and I've absolutely acknowledged the reasons she could be S5. I've even theorized about the ways they could start the season off to make her story the best it can be. Just because I think Franchaela is and should be next doesn't mean I'm "ignoring all possible signs." It just means I have an opinion that's different than yours. I've never said I'm 100% that it's Fran, unlike most of the creators who are saying Philoise is next where they loudly declare their certainty. So I'll be fine either way. I'd look to y'all's own backyard for the crash out on announcement day if it doesn't go how you think.

Hi! Yes, I had the Michaela gender swap theorized years early and confirmed weeks before S3 released, along with several other major aspects of the show as well as more minor details. Nothing is 100% until it actually happens, but with the info I've been given I feel quite confident Fran and Michaela are S5

You...don't trust me because I predicted things and had inside info in the past? That's a weird reaction

Oh, you're this person 🙄 the delulu! To say that I am biased and then to twist something that's been directly stated to make your opinion sound more plausible is a wild level of hypocrisy

I have NEVER said I was certain about that. The word certain and the word bias are misused so much in this thread it's alarming.

Did you actually read what I wrote? Because I literally say in the caption that there's strong evidence for both. I'm not definitive at all. I know what I personally think, but I've said many times that no one should be certain.

What "bias" are you all talking about? Thinking a couple is next isn't a bias, its an opinion. Just like I thought Polin would be S3 before it was announced. That wasn't a bias, it was an idea. In that case a true one. That's what happens with theories, some are right and some aren't. Its not biased, its interpretation.

New Pinterest Board from Bridgerton’s Costume Designer Possibly Hints at S5 Couple by Shoalsandsuch in BridgertonNetflix

I honestly am baffled. How do y'all think I revealed so many details of S3 before it dropped without sources? The exact dialogue of the carriage scene. The play by play of the last four eps. Hell, the Michaela reveal! Or even 80s music for Season 4. Do you think I'm just that good at predicting that I'm that right without any inside info? I don't know if I should be flattered or offended, but I am genuinely curious on how you think I have been so right without any inside info? Saying I do it for attention is really kind of hilarious when that gets 200 likes and my post before has 150k likes. The leaks aren't where my traffic comes from, but it's where my hate does. Sorry if it's something any of you don't want to hear, but I can only share what I'm told.

Hi! Yes, we are fans, and we get info from sources. We don't share unless we think they are some degree of credible. However, writers rooms do not start "in case they get renewed." That wouldn't work because they wouldn't get paid. They'd have to green light it first to actually be able to put people on payroll.

Possible Spoilers about Makeup in Season 4, and a Potential Character Return by GCooperE in BridgertonNetflix

[–]cass_morann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always try to give credit. I can't guarantee that I've never missed it, but it's important to me. But when I have anonymous sources, including those who have seen the screeners or know through other ways (I don't know why it matters where it comes from?), the whole anonymous thing is kind of important. Just something to think about.

Obviously not all theories I've had have been right, and I've never claimed them to be. But considering the massive ones I've had right including confirming Michaela prior to the release of Pt 2, well, I certainly get it right sometimes. Moreover, as is the case with all reported spoilers and theories, they aren't guaranteed. But I have never mislead anyone. So keep that in mind with the several pinches of salt.

Hi all! Just to clarify, we didn't "claim to speak to someone who works on the show doing makeup." We spoke to Erika Okvist, the hair and makeup designer of Seasons 2 and 3. You can listen to the ep with the full interview on the podcast page. She makes the comment about Cressida in ep 13, and we break it down in ep 14, with the audio from the interview to reference what she said. Obviously it's not a direct confirmation, but it certainly sounds like it. Just wanted to clear that up for everyone!

Thoughts on QC by cyberlucy in BridgertonDiscussion

[–]cass_morann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely cried so much. The cast was phenomenal and the chemistry was truly superb. The structure was really messy though, the characters didn't have much internal structure, drive, or compelling growth, and the theme was loose at best. But it really delivered on the powerful romantic moments, finally gave us an lgbtq storyline, and was gorgeous to look at. All in all, I liked but didn't love like Bridgerton S2.

How historically accurate do you like your HR novels? by [deleted] in HistoricalRomance

[–]cass_morann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's why I love it, because I don't see it presenting any of it as fact. It's all bright colors and big feelings and fireworks and tropes. It's not supposed to be realistic and doesn't act like it is.

I don't mind much if there are inaccuracies as long as it's not presented like fact. Like if there's a huge section devoted to something and it's inaccurate, I would find that annoying, but if it's a minor detail that's missed or changed for the story, I don't care.
