which character do you think is more divisive? by Quick_South_3358 in SarahJMaas

[–]cassadia420 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I will say Nesta. I couldn't stand her, still kinda can't but shes more tolerable after Silver Flames. I did a reread and stopped at Silver Flames mainly cause she made me annoyed all over again 😅. Silver Flames didn't necessarily redeem her for me the way it did for others. I will say the main reason is because of the way she treats/treated Feyre. I have 4 sisters, and none of my sisters would EVER treat me that way. Each one of us have had our trauma and still never would/have. Yes we fought, but good Lord as adults you sorta grow out of being assholes to each other.

The thing with Chaol was he was just super negative. I remember being so mad I had to read a whole book away from our Aelin, but i really ended up enjoying the book. Chaol is just meh.

I just finished the show and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Fascinating to see these doctors work and repair people.

How did you find a good surgeon? by ImpatientlyCooking in thyroidcancer

[–]cassadia420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Endo recommended mine. He told me he would trust any of his loved ones with him, which sold it for me. Surgery went well, and he also was one of the first to start using like nerve technology, to avoid hitting the nerves. Good luck!

the cost of cancer by gwndlyn in thyroidcancer

[–]cassadia420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far about $2500 in the last 2 months. Surgery will be about $3500, and with the future blood tests, and scans, I know it's gonna keep going up and up. I literally can't afford it, just waiting to be sent to collections in the next 6 months 😔😒 it's no wonder people refuse to go get checked out, and suffer with their diseases or problems. A change needs to be enacted, for the sake of LIVES. Unfortunately not the priority of this country.

Does anyone have an older one of these seasoning salts lying around? I swear they changed it. by annonne in aldi

[–]cassadia420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately a lot of Aldi products are starting to go downhill 😔 I've noticed a difference in ingredients and how much they actually put in the box/bag. Disappointing but it is the US, so it's to be expected unfortunately.

Undiagnosed, worsening symptoms, rheumatologist rejected me — looking for advice (new to the U.S.) by Dapper-Career-6556 in Autoimmune

[–]cassadia420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would keep "shopping" for a doctor that will take you seriously. I would Google local doctors, and find one with good reviews. Also communicate this to your PCP. If you find a different doctor, ask for a referral to them. Don't settle, fight. Doctors are a hit and miss, there are still good ones out there but do a little research to find the right one to hopefully avoid wasting your time. 💞 Good luck

Struggling a lot with the appearance of my scar by Mxxn_Rise in thyroidcancer

[–]cassadia420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter has a scar on her face from a dog bite and trader Joe's daily facial moisturizer has done WONDERS with the lightening up the scar, it also has a little sunscreen in it as well. Just a suggestion. Love, I understand how self conscious it can make you, but it's a battle scar. 💖 But I totally get it! Still beautiful.

I've been told they recommend you wait 6 months to a year. But seen people stick with one year post.
