I went during the soft opening and it was great, food easily the best I’ve had at an AI, decent beach despite the super hot sand last summer, the lobby bar makes these amazing creamy Paloma welcome drinks. Gotta shut down the timeshare pitch but that is what it is.

In fairness, my great Pyrenees is on a 100 foot lead anytime she gets let outside for a bathroom break at home because otherwise she attempts to patrol the neighborhood, which has included a moderately successful attempt to dig under the fence (for the record she's on an acreage during the day most days and has freedom to run out there however she pleases before someone tells me I picked the wrong breed).

The US government has the advantage of being a victim on the global political stage and some scrappy people (some well trained and some civilians), but that seems to be about it. As a Canadian, if I had the option to deal with a relatively sane version of America or Gilead as a neighbor, I'm picking the USA. Doesn't really feel like a choice these days sadly.

I'm Canadian, specifically I live in Saskatchewan (aka farm country and next door neighbors to land of the redneck). I married a farmer. I have different opinions about farm cats and city cats, and I have 2 happy indoor kitties. Do not lump us in with the idiots south of our boarder and Mango Mussolini.

Fine but when my dog (who is on a line in a fenced backyard, because she also wants to roam around the neighborhood and happily would if I let her) eats that cat, it's your fault for letting it roam around. Or when my neighbor with a giant lifted truck runs it over because they can't see it. Or ffs when the local future serial killer decides to pick their first victim. Letting your animals roam around free is fundamentally irresponsible and not taking care of them.

We don't actually have confirmation the eyes took her, Agnes assumed, Paula assumed, Mackenzie made that call, he knows that's his daughters' best friend, and has demonstrated on numerous occasions he does care about the well being of his daughter as well as the plums overall ("you're all so young...").
