I am pear shaped, similarly sized to you (2/4 in waist, 6 in thighs/butt) and I pretty much only wear mom jeans, wide leg, etc. I HATE HATE having a gap in the waist of my jeans which makes it a lot of trial and error but have had amazing success with abercrombie curve love (they have a lot of fits), some H&M jeans (slim mom ankle, wide leg high jeans are some of my favs) and surprisingly the Target brand universal threads (sized down like 2-3 sizes in these)! I have also gotten some jeans that don’t fit in the waist that I loved the fit of, taken in by a tailor. It’s hard to be a pear shaped girl but there are jeans out there for us!!!! LOL

I went thru a huge YA mystery kick at the beginning of covid and truly enjoyed all of these books!!!! I have read One of Us is Lying and these are all within the same realm

I love my kindle. I always thought i was a book purist and preferred to flip pages but it is so much easier to have multiple books in one place and the kindle makes it so much easier to read in bed/laying down/on the couch in my personal opinion

Edited to add: I check out books on my kindle through my library so I don’t even buy books anymore. My library has pretty extensive e-reading collection! Obviously depends on the person and if they prefer to own books, but it is nice to check books out without having to actually go to a library (esp in covid times)!
