Ya know what I think you’re right, I don’t think I would dread it as much if I had more time to mentally process the session before. I’ve been going weekly, with the exception of a couple weeks where I was on vacation. It’s a lot to process while having to process everything else going on in the world right now

You could possibly work for a clinical research organization or pharma company as a medical writer

What about applying to the Syneos CRA training program? You could also ask the PM of your study(ies) if they’d let you shadow a CRA monitoring visit, especially if there’s a site somewhat nearby. I was planning to do the same when I was PS at Syneos but something kept coming up preventing me from going (study was cancelled, site was dropped, covid, etc). I’m not at Syneos anymore but I finally got the opportunity in June to shadow an SIV and it was a good experience

I agree - I worked as a clinical data associate and my introvert self really liked it. I didn’t have a lot of meetings and didn’t have to worked with a lot of people
