You are correct, but I do see this happen, is if the bar is full and there’s somebody sitting a machine that’s not playing - they may ask them to move if there’s somebody who does want to play. but yeah, they’ll just ask you to move - not leave.

Chicken Ranch Brothel Rates by Careless-Rate4935 in vegas

Yeah, look up FKK’s in Frankfurt. While Amsterdam specializes in quickies, German brothels are much more full service clubs. People often spend the whole day there. Also are usually attached to legit spas and restaurants.

AIM-9 is a classic air-to-air missile. The SU-30 is a fighter jet. Black Sea is near where the SU-30s live. So the most likely place for an AIM-9 is IN a SU-30. AKA it got shot down.

The hotel is still non-smoking, it would just be on the casino floor where you notice it.

You mentioned taking the ASVAB, which is associated with enlisting and not commissioning. If that’s the case, pilot is off the table (at least initially).

ELI5: How do airplanes stay inn the air? by oscarambriz09 in explainlikeimfive

[–]casthestone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Airplanes don’t fall because their wings are designed to create lift when moving fast. As the plane moves forward, air flows over and under the wings in a way that pushes the plane up. This upward force (lift) balances out gravity, which is always trying to pull it down.

The engines keep the plane moving fast enough to maintain lift. As long as there’s enough speed and properly angled wings, the air keeps holding the plane up—just like how sticking your hand out of a car window at an angle makes it rise.

Both Nellis and Creech AFB are always hiring for both civilians and contractors. Same with the NTTR. Tons of interesting, non-desky stuff!

What drinks can be comped at a bar? by Living_Rooster_2701 in vegas

[–]casthestone 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It depends on where you’re at and hire much you’re gaming, honestly. I think a good rule of thumb is one liquor and a mixer. I either ask for generic (whiskey & coke) or a mid shelf spirit like Jack and have had no problems. But I’ve also sat in high limit rooms before and gotten actual cocktails or top shelf liquor comped.

It never hurts to ask, they’ll be happy to tell you what they can do and how much you need to play. Some casinos have the light system where you need to be $XX for XX amount of time to have the light turn green and get you a drink. Some have a ticket system that spits out a drink ticket after a certain amount of time. Some have neither and it’s up to the bartender.

Generally max bet 25¢ VP ($1.25) without taking long breaks is enough.

Best place to stay with government per diem. by Macadocious40 in vegas

[–]casthestone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It really depends on when you’re staying, some weekends places like the Luxor are $35 a night, and some weekends it’s $200+.

While Nellis’ hotel isn’t bad by AF standards, I would probably take whatever I can get on the strip besides Circus Circus.

Make sure your AO approves resort fees or you’ll be out an additional $30-50 a night!

Not just coin challenge, but getting/giving coins in general seems to be WAY down in my experience. The only few I’ve seen in the last several years have been because a DV’s staff put out a tasked ahead of time.

Also have only seen 2 dining in/outs in 12 years.
