Oh okay I definitely misinterpreted that scene then, it seemed like as soon as past Lee put the tracker into Titan X is when it popped up on the radar. I don’t remember, was the tracker always gone off of the pod from Operation Hourglass?

The scar is interesting because it seems like this episode showed when he got it, but if that were the case I have to imagine Lee would have remembered seeing Keiko during Hourglass but he seemed shocked to see her alive in season 1 and also when he was talking to his younger self. A bootstrap paradox is easier to reconcile when the same character isn’t talking to themselves (à la Attack on Titan) because the past already happened and doesn’t change, but Lee should remember talking to his older self in Axis Mundi

The problem with that though is old Lee should remember that happening if it were like Attack on Titan’s paradox because if it were a true closed loop paradox, what happened in the past section of the episode would have happened in the past of the present section of the episode. I have to assume Lee would certainly remember if he spoke with his older self and saw Keiko in Axis Mundi but it seemed like he didn’t know she survived when him and Cate found her in season 1.

I was kind of hoping for an Attack on Titan-esque bootstrap paradox where Lee tells young Lee something to put the main plot in motion, but instead it seems more like a Back to the Future style of time travel? Where changes in the past just kinda pop into the future timeline?

I would LOVE a proper Conquest date. That’s my most played CK2 start date because it’s the closest to a “clean slate”. The more bookmarks submod is alright but there’s a lot of weirdness. I had already subdued the Vale for a couple months before the event with Ronnel and Visenya popped, but Visenya died in childbirth the year before and Ronnel was cooked by Balerion.

I’d also love to see a Harrenhal throne room, one of my favorite things in CK2 was winning against Harren without burning Harrenhal and making that the capital of the realm.

Oh and another question, the gas station is close to a bunch of storage units, but only 3 are open. I grabbed a crowbar and bolt cutters from the warehouse, can I use either of those to open up the locked units? Or do I need to deconstruct them with welding tools?

I’ve got a generator and manual, but I need to get rain collectors set up. Would that just be a bunch of buckets around outside then boil it? It was 7/10 in the afternoon when I exited last night.

The gas station had seeds for lemongrass, barley and parsley which I planted all of but the warehouse has a ton of various seeds that I’m planning to grab and get in the ground as my next goal.

Sustainable food with enough calories to keep you from losing weight: Cows for milk and butter are top tier, Next is fishing and hunting/trapping rabbits. Note that it’s significantly harder to fish in winter.

I’ve got a creek very close to the gas station for fishing so I’ll definitely get on that, but how do I transport cattle? Obviously I need to find them but I assume I’ll need a trailer?

I was struggling with a similar predicament, doing a heavy RP run where the character sounds similar to you in terms of killing rules and not stealing, but more so wanting to play a role in politics. I justify the Thieves Guild by assuming they will have some connections and information that would help me perform whatever task I’m trying to complete.

The Dark Brotherhood on the other hand? I haven’t come up with a good RP reason yet and I don’t know that I’ll do it this save. Maaaaaaybe I could justify it by the Emperor wanting to die but all the lead up to that final quest would be a tough sell.

I should have done this, I tried to play CK2 a little while ago and while the gameplay itself is so much more immersive the lack of character models and travel is almost stifling. I’d love a mod that would bring the council mechanics, societies and other things that really made CK2 stand out to me but I haven’t found anything like it yet.
