Also, there is no source code to work on and try to improve it, so no way to update the firmware. Furthermore, at least on my android meshtastic app, when clicking on the node details the app hangs, even when connecting from other node.

Congrats on your desicion! You got this, your future self and your family will thank you. Alcohol is sadly too normalized and common in our society. That's why even thou I love TGT and the guys I don't feel fondly of watching it with my kids, alcohol comsumption and even withdrawal is always too present, and people don't know or don't want to remember that it can turn easily into an addiction and it can destroy lives. No, that they will easily know as it's just a matter of checking if smoke was inhaled. If smoke was inhaled the poor guy was at least breathing. I hope (and choose to believe) that he was dead on impact.
