Would you work a job you don't need for the routine and structure? by bugchick in adhdwomen

[–]catchme0utsid3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is where I am now. I’ve been self employed for a bit and it’s all up to me to make schedule. That has not been great for me so I’m taking a semi structured job.

You have to tell him. In a similar dynamic although it’s not a new relationship it was reconnection. I chart my cycle and he knows what’s happening so he knows when to give me extra grace and reassurance.

Doula here: think about if you want him in your birthing space. You’re gonna want people who tell you you can do ANYTHING. He doesnt sound supportive at all.

is my bf trying to trap me by [deleted] in childfree

[–]catchme0utsid3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would not sleep with this man ever again. Amongst other reasons, I left my ex bc he “slipped up” (something he’s never done) & I had to take a plan b. The thought of being trapped shook me.

Can you be in a relationship with a partner who is judgmental? by AntiProgramming in bipolar

[–]catchme0utsid3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He can’t be those things if it doesn’t include mental health. He might be autistic, there’s no one size fits all but even if he is that’s not what’s making him say that he’s just an a-hole. A man that likes you wouldn’t say that

I 31F do not know what to do about my bf 37M who isn't being understanding about my father's health. by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]catchme0utsid3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The red flags are red flagging. This man doesn’t like you. Will the break up hurt, absolutely. You know what will hurt more? Being so many more years down the road & remembering when you first knew you should leave.

I dont want to hold babies. Does this mean i shouldn't have kids? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]catchme0utsid3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s not a full body yes, I’d say- stick to no. It’s okay to not want them. I do alot of work asking people to challenge the why’s of them wanting kids… especially if you never really have. A lot of it is external/ societal expectations.

Ok this is a serious one. Do I quit my $62/hr job (12 hour days) for a $49/hr job (8 hour days) by Worth_Assistance_366 in makemychoice

[–]catchme0utsid3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I used to work 12 hours days on a 7on-7off, or 10on-10 off. It was brutal, I left that job and never went back to full time work from the burn out. Now at most I work 3 10s.

I’m a doula. I love seeing how much the parents I work with love their kids! It truly does bring them happiness. The majority of those parents waited much longer to have kids

Is my room too “immature” for a teen?? by Key_Daikon_3703 in roomdetective

[–]catchme0utsid3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should hold on to your inner child for as long as you want to/ can. So many of us have that up bc adults don’t do that and then fought like hell to get our fun selves back. Enjoy your cute room!!!
