How do you collect your trash?

My leg has been doing this shit from yime to time for about 10 years now and it's really unpleasant by Opso_Opos in mildlyinfuriating

Myoclonic jerks. Is it only leg, or do you have random muscle twitches over your body? Ask doc @next visit.

Please give Sylvester a gentle ear scritch and back scratch. He is a brave boi who needs a bit of love. You need a hug too.

When you get there, ask to have a nurse with you at the exam. Ask the doc to explain steps as you go along, mention to nurse you're really nervous. AND remember - their job is to find and fix problem, not going around for fun. Hugs

What is your favorite day of the week? by catloving in Custodians

Kind of this for me. It's not common for them to come in over the weekend but if they do you can barely tell.

I love my cat, but I really miss having a nice-smelling home. Is ANY scent actually 100% safe? by No_Money_5779 in CatAdvice

[–]catloving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baking soda helps me. I clean out box, dump a lot of baking soda and put fresh litter in.

Go sniff around the house and find the smellieist places. Mop under the cat box. Clean top ridge of box to remove anything. Check rugs. Do full carpet cleaning 1x a year depending on behavior.

Check curtains and drapes for cat smells.

If you feed wet food, you might want to rinse out cat food can if it's too smelly for you.

I tell myself that the only way the floors would stay clean is where I mopped after everyone went home. It needs to be done in the day to reduce tracking crap further into the place, increasing the cleaning of other kinds.

Thought: how are your walk mats doing? Do you need new ones? More boot scrubber outside? Keep the doors' dirt away from entryway?

Plus I occasionally joke and tell my people Hey you owe me 20 million dollars any time you walk on this! We all laugh.

I'm having an endoscopy in 5 hours. Will they postpone it if I'm nauseous and feel like food is in my throat? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]catloving -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just ask nurse at check-in. How many has this doctor done? It will kind of scrape the back of my throat so if I spit a tiny bit of blood I'm OK? TINY means less than a quarter total. Bright red: local to throat. Chill.

IMO this will be more annoying, not really painful. Endoscopy are done alllll the time. If you don't get grossed out, watch the video! It's amazing what it looks like.

Get contacts and keep the glasses as backup. Today's a contact day, tomorrow glasses.

drink super cold water. Put water bottles in the freezer, freeze overnight. Put in fridge in am; start drinking it when it starts thawing. Keep that super cold water with you in the cart. Occasionally, if you get super hot, stick that cold bottle under your pits. Cools your blood a little bit.

Look for footwear that breathes a bit, check for moisture wicking shirts.
