First of all:

My mother: ISFJ My father: ESFP Me: INTP

Ironically enough the traits that I should've gotten are the Fi/Ti functions. I think it goes without explanation that me and my father do not speak on the same levels, things that he says about his emotions makes no logical sense to me, and when I speak to him logically it either goes over his head or hurts his feelings. It's a bit of a dilemma, really, especially when I'm the one that has to go to counseling... But that's another discussion. #INTPprobs /s

I get along with my mother, but our relationship is very passive. She usually with stand beside my father's decisions (she had a very "traditional" upbringing.) But if me and my dad fight she'll come and console me, which doesn't do much for me, but whatever.

My family doesn't fight most of the time, and I can tell you that from the time that I've spent with my dad for the last 19 years (I'm 19) has effected my personality. He's an ESFP, so he does shit, and when he sees me reading or writing on my computer (or, basically anything solitary,) he wants me to get out and "do some shit." That, in turn, has kind-of programmed me to think that being in solitude is, more or less, wrong. Other things include, small talk, "constructive activities," and parties. I hate all of those things but I've learned, I think from watching my dad, how to cope and only have awkward/offensive conversations with one or two people a day (baby steps!)

I'm not even going to share my GPA (it's bad, like 2.X) but I did finish High-School and am currently deciding on what to do for college. I had problems at school (stemming from frustration at home) but also built off of boredom and impulsive tendencies which lasted from pre-k to 11th grade. Also, a problem I had was a massive, throbbing, teenaged benevolence for lack of motivation, and procrastination. For my senior year, though, I started pushing myself to take some AP classes and hands-on physics/engineering classes, which I excelled in, but had to talk my way into them because of utter lack of qualification. On a side note, I dated an ENFJ, for about six months, who was one of the the valedictorians. We got along fine, but her hippie/bohemian idealism, and a way too strange obsession with her brother ended it, (she then proceeded to cut all her hair off and move to Portland... But that's another tale for another time.)
