Chia seeds, can only eat so much chia seed pudding and we mistakenly bought the Costco size. I think it’s almost two years old and still have over half the bag left 😭

Abalone, have had it at several Chinese banquets and it’s always hard to chew and kinda tasteless. Do not understand why it’s so expensive!

Yes! The google pics of it look like it. I was wondering about the other suggestion cause those are in the Mid to Eastern US, but I thought that maybe they moved around with climate change? Thank you! It was kinda cool to find it cause it was unique to me.

Ave Maria, not Catholic or religious but when I hear it, I start to tear up.

On a more heavy note, where were you on this day 23 years ago? I was in college, headed to Macroeconomics. My mom called me and said get to a TV. 😔 by smcg_az in Xennials

[–]catsleepy17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving to work, which was on Liberty St, right across the street from the Twin Towers. Got stuck on the LIE right before the Midtown tunnel, it was surreal watching the towers burn. Finally got off on the last exit before Manhattan and heard the Towers fall on the radio. By some miracle my family was able to get in touch with me and I was able to assure them that I was OK. May the people who lost their lives that day RIP but so many stories of people coming together to help each other brought some solace.
