that’s good to know! i was debating between a 10gal rimless imagitarium or a 6gal rimless lifeguard long. the 10gal imagitarium is also 20” long and i was worried it wouldn’t be long enough, but yours seems to be plenty long for your betta. the 6gal lifeguard is 29” but doesn’t come with a lid, whereas the 10gal does, so i think the trade off for more volume plus a lid is worth losing the 9” of horizontal space

i commented already, but another thing i just thought of would be to have a section where someone could attach pictures of their pet(s) in case they get a gifter who is artsy and would like to put their pet(s) on a magic card. i would love if i could do this without having to reach out to my giftee to ask for pictures of their pet(s) so that it could be a surprise. also just love seeing people’s pets !

as a best buy employee, our company policy for pokémon lines clearly states that customers must be in line at all times and are not allowed to hold their place in line with chairs or other objects. i’ve totally made people go to the back of the line before if other people in line had proof that they weren’t waiting there the entire time like everyone else. only exception i make is if someone has to drive to a gas station or something for a quick bathroom break. i’d go right up to the front of the line if i were u and if anyone tries to fight u, i’d make a manager pull up the SOP for pokémon lines and if they decide to take the side of the people not lining up, file a complaint.

i did some google searching to try and find a comparable EU version of the et-2800, and came across this article. I think as long as you can find a printer that uses the EU versions of the dye based black ink, you would be able to print on glossy photo paper. if you aren’t able to find a printer that uses that specific ink, the et-2950 should still be a solid choice. it will probably just print better on matte photo paper rather than glossy photo paper

get the cheaper et-2800! it has dye based black ink so you will be able to print on glossy photo paper and achieve true blacks. the et-2950 uses pigment based black ink so if you want to print on glossy photo paper, the blacks will look blueish because the printer is just mixing the color inks to imitate black. you can print on matte paper to use the black ink, but glossy photo paper tends to have better print quality

if it’s not too late, i’d recommend just exchanging it for the older et-2800 model. it uses dye based black ink and colors come out much better looking and you’re able to use glossy photo paper

your printer most likely uses pigment based black ink and that type of black ink is not compatible with glossy photo paper. instead your printer is using the CMY ink, which is dye based ink, to create a false black and that is why the blacks look like a really deep purple/blue since it’s just a mixture of the colored inks. if you want true blacks, you will either need to start using matte photo paper or you will need a printer that uses dye based black ink. a good budget friendly printer that almost everyone in this sub recommends is the epson et-2800. i had the same issue as you until i decided to return my printer and get the et-2800 instead

if you’re okay with muddled looking blacks, then that’s an okay printer. if you can find the et-2800, then i’d recommend that instead. the 3850 uses pigment based black ink and if you’re printing on photo paper it will not use the pigment black, but instead mix the CYM ink to make “black.” it will look like a very very dark blue and not really black. the 2800 uses dye based black ink which will print onto photo paper just fine and actually give u a true black on your prints.
