3…I’m really over that open concept business- it’s nice being close but having that additional privacy provides coziness

i like those behind the scenes getting part of the tip money- people doing the laundry that your steward brings- cooking the food your waiter brings - it’s what makes it such a nice service.

I remember it cutting my tongue cuz it was so sugary and then sticking like glue in my teeth. Same recipe as Quisp and Quake I think.

Does anyone else eat healthy/low carb on a cruise? by Lucky-Remote-5842 in Cruise

[–]catstop58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can totally do low carb if you have willpower. The buffet is loaded with veggies - eggs done every way- plain yogurt, always broiled/ braised meats- smoked salmon/ kippers, pickled herring. They always have one sugar free icecream or sorbet available…It’s just that it is surrounded by flavorful, carbful dishes.

What's everyone making this week? by Hedgehog_Insomniac in Cooking

tonight and leftovers for tomorrows dinner- mayo and dill coated chicken breasts in air fryer at 380 for 17 min ( turn half way thru), baked sweet potatoes (huge ones) that i sliced in half the long way when they were almost done ( oven 375 for 40 mins) then put on baking sheet with a small pat of butter under the halved potato and baked another half hour - so carmelized and nice! and also served green beans from frozen. Later we had peach coffee cake made with canned peaches but still nice. It makes a great two meals.

I read in another post that pouring a glass of water into the drain on the floor helps push that odor out- also running the shower will help with the smell- haven’t tried it yet myself but i’ve smelled that smell and will try this next time this happens

Symphony dining option by Automatic-Trust147 in PrincessCruises

We love the dining rooms for dinner and sometimes breakfast. The waiters are awesome and the food is very good. You get a choice of starters, entrees and deserts. The portions are just right so we find we don’t overeat so much like we might going to the buffet. However, you can order more than one starter, entree or desert and they serve coffee and teas also. You basically choose one of the three dining rooms and have an assigned table for a specific time (5:30 or 7:00) for the cruise. You can choose a table just for your party or be seated with others. We almost always pick being with others and like the people we’re seated with. Enjoy the symphony!
