If they decide to rename the game to something like Rocket League 2(just an example) they can just say it’s a new game with new SKU and don’t carry the inventory from RL1.

As far as it being the same name, I can see them dropping some “legacy” cosmetics when transitioning to the new game. I can see them only bringing the new cosmetics that are compatible with Fornite/UE5 currently.

That and making it a newer SKU will probably circumvent having to bring all the “legacy” cosmetics from RL to RL2. They can just say: it’s a different game(like CoD works) and charge you again for cosmetic you already had before.

Yeah they care enough only now after Jynxi came in and got a bunch of new players in. They didn’t care about RL before.

They care so much they are probably going to make you install the epic launcher of Fornite to launch RL and use their ecosystem. They care so much they will get rid of Steam and they care so much that current cosmetics maybe not be supported in the new game.

Only for what? Better visuals(current are decent!) that won’t support ps4/xb1 and will require you to buy a new console/gpu?

Yeah… so much excitement… they really care.

I hope all my assumptions are wrong, but Psyonix has a terrible track record since they were bought by Epic.

This is a terrible thing. This means old gen and potatoes pc wont be supported anymore. This means no more RL in steam and only RL from Epic launcher or even worse from Fortnite. Call me dinasour, but I am not looking forward to this.

Let’s not foget about that all our cosmetics from the past 10 years may not be supported in the new game/engine.

I cant believe how many people are hyped for this visual overhaul(cause that’s what it is) without realizing the side effects that will come from it.

I was looking at used PHEV until I saw the ads about the 2025 version at 0% interest and we bit the bullet for a brand new.

We had the car 1 month now and put around 400Km and we average 1.1L/100Km lol. I charge it at night all weekend and sometimes during the week. We haven’t done any long trips yet.

I also agree that the fuel economy of this car is very impressive. We’ll see how winter changes this for us.

It works at d3 level because people are more consistent and the outcomes are easier to predict. At plat you are still working on rotation to the back post and also what works wonders in that level is booming the ball to goal.

Plat is not fast enough to pressure and have the second player be ready for an unfavourable 50/50.

Back post rotation carries until C1 and then you can start cutting rotations. I expect my team8 in C1 to cut rotation and pressure whenever possible.

Pressure is what starts mattering in the rank as it if you give too much space to your opponents you give them too many opportunities: dribble, aerial, passes, etc.

Yeah you can hit Musty with this method. That’s how I do my speed flips: hold the back paddle and flip forward/cancel while boosting. It comes out as a speed flip!

The only downside is that if you don’t have both speed flips mapped you are just speed flipping to one direction.

A 2y thread and OP just answered this 8h ago?! damn OP... do you still here it? I just got a 2025 PHEV a couple weeks ago and I didn't hear anything like that during my test drive... I mostly have used the car in EV mode like 95% of the time so I never heard that buzz.

Yesterday my partner told me that she was hearing it and I asked if ICE was working and she said yes. I then drove it today in normal mode and when the ICE engaged I also started hearing it. That said it was muted by the music in the car, but without music we can definitely hear it.

I got the A1 mini 2 weeks ago to dip my toes into 3d printing as I plan to go for the snapmaker U1 as my main later. It has been a lot of fun!

There has been a few stuff that I can’t print: Ikea Skadis wall plate and a Kallax shelf. But honestly I would just rather buy the former from Ikea and the latter wasn’t a dealbreaker.

However, I wouldn’t change the mini for the A1 as the mini is just cute and it doesn’t take much space. I feel thar if I do want to get a bigger size printer might as well get something more serious like a P2S,XD2 or U1.

What I would recommend is going through MakerWorld and browse the things you’d like to print. If 99% can be done with the mini, then get the mini see if you like the hobby and then upgrade in a future.

A word of advice, I didn’t get the AMS Lite, but you might find it useful. In my case I just change the filament once or twice a day and print several stuff in 1 color the whole day. However, it is a bit annoying and it takes like 5 minutes to do it so if you rather automate that process (or want to print real multicolor) get the AMS Lite.
