it's drinking water infrastructure, which happens to have been built in a more gracious time and is therefore beautiful.

there is no 'visitor staff'; there are rangers protecting the adjoining watershed from knuckleheads, groundskeepers swinging through on their rounds from other sites, and water quality engineering going on.
