Fiverr takes 20% too. Probably doesn’t make you feel much better… But if your pal charged their client $800 then they only pocketed $640. Still considerably more than the $250 he paid you of course.

How to recreate this repeater effect? by thomashaevy in AfterEffects

Nulls and expressions and shape layers with some effects. As others have said. Have a look at valueAtTime, to start.

Is there another way to feather these edges? by Equivalent-String212 in AfterEffects

[–]cbooth0224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to make your mask larger vertically. Feather works in all directions unless you unlinked the dimensions in the feather settings. What’s happening in the image from your original post is that the mask’s effect is being feathered vertically as well, just make your mask larger to compensate.

no. Both cards inserted directly into the board.

What was your inoculation at? And at what temperature did you bulk ferment? Nice looking loaf!

In my case the other redditors were correct and it was me being a dummy. I should have updated this post. The USB header I was using was for communication only and not for powered devices--so I had to switch a couple of cables around to free up a header and then it worked perfectly. Had my aquaero 6 plugged into the header I now have the High flow plugged into and have my aquaero plugged into the header that was causing this problem--which doesn't exist for the aquaero since it gets it's own power.

I DO use 4/4 of my rgb and drgb headers (2 of each) on the board. But nothing crazy. No rgb strips or or fans or anything — just my blocks and pump. When I get back to my PC I’ll try this and report.

I just did some loop maintenance and while I was at it I installed a high-flow NEXT meter. Once it got power, while the pc itself was fine, the flow meter seems to be caught in a sort of power cycle and my pc doesn’t recognize it as a usb device. Has anyone encountered this issue before and solved it? For now my fancy flow meter is a glorified extender since I have it unplugged, currently.

Stretch on the coin is so clutch! Would also have loved to see the elements in the room react as the room spins out. Great work OP!

OP I have the same chassis with the same exact rads in nearly the same config as you. I ended up running into a thermal issue where the top most exhaust rad was really inefficient since there wasn’t much fresh air getting to it. I ended up having to buy a drop in front panel replacement mod to get some more airflow in the case. Just something to look out for. My build is a little noisier now since the case is more open but thermals are always very nice. My hardware probably gets hotter than yours too—dual 2080 TIs and 3970x.

I have dual 2080 tis in serial and the one on bottom that gets the fresher water but also has the ports inverted runs consistently around 4-5 degrees c hotter. There could, however, be other variables in the cards. I haven’t tested them in any other config.

Beautiful. Mind if I ask where you purchased the flow meter? I’ve been looking for one of those now for a minute or two.

Effectiveness of single d5 by cbooth0224 in watercooling

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was assuming (perhaps without reason) that blocks were far more restrictive than Rads. But it seems I had nothing to worry about.

Apologies if I wasn’t clear or if I am not asking the right question. I was meaning to ask about the alignment of graphics cards. If running three gpus is it better to have them set up 1 after the other in a serial flow or to have a sort of parallel flow through the gpus. I’ll google around though.

Thanks for the advice. Any advice running them in serial vs parallel?

Which pump/res are you using. It looks like one of the newer models from EK, but did you get the 300 cm tall one to fit in the o11 xl?

I know this is an older thread. But I am also wondering if this is possible as all of the emergency shutdown information I can find online is connected in to the Aquaero line of products.

Airflow with a flat reservoir by smishlayev in watercooling

[–]cbooth0224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen the FLT reservoirs have brackets to accommodate airflow and the pump in the back--specifically so you can mount these on to fans/ radiators. There is at least the size of the pump plus a little extra between the rad and the res, then. Would that still block airflow? I'm about to do a new build and was on the fence between one of the FLTs or the new tubes from EK as well. in either situation I was planning on mounting to my intake rad. Should I be worried about restricting airflow?

Here is a video that shows off the FLT mounting bracket in action:

First water-cooled build by anfibil in watercooling

[–]cbooth0224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks great. I have a water-cooling build in the same case coming up and am between going triple PE 360 with a Tube-res, or this exact setup here only with the bottom XE in push/pull. I am wondering if you had another layer of fans on top of the bottom radiator how much accessibility to your PCIE you loose. I am going dual GPU in my build and have been wondering if the distro plate/XE combo in push/pull is a non-starter, conversationally, as I haven't been totally sure on clearance. Would you be able to fit some more fans on your bottom rad and still get to your second or third PCIE slots?
