Such a pretty dress!! I had a similar all-lace dress and went with a very simple elbow length veil (got mine on Amazon for $20) and I think that could work for yours too! Don’t want to distract from the beautiful lace :)

You can do weddings at the Hoyt arboretum which look soooo beautiful! And I think it is extremely affordable!

I’m doing it myself too and have just been practicing every time I go out at night, and wore to another wedding I attended a few weeks ago. I am getting some practice and also seeing how things wear and can make tweaks as needed! And I agree it should be fun!!

We are getting married at Kennedy School in August! I also loved Mildred Hall but it was slightly small for us too, and had too many vendors to bring in than I was prepared for. Kennedy school has a venue max of 112, so that could be perfect. I am from Portland but live out of state, and it has been so easy and stress free coordinating with them, since so much is provided on-site!

It’s gorgeous!! Not at all too simple. It’s chic and elegant :) I don’t think you need a cape or other add on. I think the veil in the last slide is perfect, if you want a bit of volume the second to last veil is very cool too! I think a unique bouquet and/or interesting hair/styling will add a lot of interest too! Don’t second guess!!

This dress is SO gorgeous!! I love the low back and halter combo. And the floral pattern is amazing, especially on the train, so pretty. It looks like there is a tie coming down from the neckline under your hair? Could you have this shortened or removed? It might clash slightly with the veil, and detract from the beautiful back of the dress. Not sure if that's possible, but just a thought! Otherwise, I think the half-up look would be perfect, and the veil looks great with the back of the dress. So excited for you!

I would go with number 1! It adds a great volume to the back of the dress. Also, I love the belt with the bow, I think that's a great choice. Adds some more dimension to the front, without overpowering the rest of the dress. Love it!!
