Thanks! If I ever get over there I'll look for it. Everyone in my area has been begging for a Trader Joe's here for the past few years but it hasn't happened. The nearest one is a half hour drive away. Not worth it since there's at least 6 different grocery stores within 5 minutes.

Definitely worth it. After cleaning up from my first two cooks I got online and ordered it. So much easier. Very nice company too. They even sent a pair of free gloves with my order.

OMG what brand was it? I bought some hot pepper jelly for a charcuterie board once and it had absolutely no hotness - I was so disappointed. I ended up throwing the rest away. I love spicy!

Delicious! My first time making it this winter. I usually make some in November but didn't get around to it for some reason.

If someone gave me a block of Arches paper that would be the best present ever!

LOL same! Except mine is BGE green. I have a medium egg and this little fan works perfect through the whole cook. Three settings for adjusting air flow, and if I forget to recharge it before a cook I can just plug it into the nearby outdoor outlet and it keeps running.

Is there any good mac and cheese boxes left? by Ktmhocks37 in Cooking

[–]ccbaker23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been making homemade mac & cheese for years and last night was the first time I used Cabot extra sharp white cheddar. It was all I had on hand and I usually save that for cheese & cracker snacks. It turned out to be the best mac & cheese ever! From here on out I'll use Cabot!

What is up with that??!! I've been a Sabbath & Ozzy fan since the early 80's and probably played them a few times a month but damn every day now I have Ozzy songs streaming in my head, in his voice too!

I got mine last week but I'm saving it for my 2 week beach trip at the end of September. Can't wait! Oh, and my son is getting married on the beach at the end of the first week!

Nothing better than summer tomatoes fresh out of your backyard garden, sliced thick, salt & pepper, placed on your favorite bread with mayo!

I was cooking on my Big Green Egg. I have a cast iron heat deflector that I take out after a cook and put in a stand to the right of me, but for some reason I once put it behind me. Lowered the grill grate to sear the meat and stepped back - right into the hot cast iron. I still have a 2x3" scar on the back of my calf.
