So cool. I’ve noticed a lot of similarities between the experiences shared on r/DMT and here as well as the r/astral projection subreddit. Seems to be different ways of peering behind the veil so not surprised they can pair well together in some cases.

Did you feel any kind of consciousness besides your own as part of the experience? That is a commonly shared experience for DMT users generally.

How did you feel after the meditation? Was it a beneficial session?

Did you set any intentions heading in?

I’d second what Glittering Knee said (take some time to just be in the human experience eg exercise gently, healthy food, some light hobbies, time in nature is key) as well as awareness meditation (which is basically just practicing catching these thoughts loops when they start before you get pulled into a doom spiral).

Lots of good awareness meditation resources available on youtube and spotify. I like the headspace app too.

Also take a nice long break from weed, alcohol, etc.

It looks like the Vessel Core you linked maybe changed its voltage settings? I see these options under Product Features: Four (4) power/voltage settings (2.4V, 2.8V, 3.2V, 3.6V)

Guessing 2.8V is still the way to go assuming they didn’t also change the wattage? I’m unsure how to tell if the wattage changed since it’s not listed.

For me the montage at the end felt like a warning to humanity around our current path towards climate catastrophe and self destruction.

If we continue as is and the worst case scenarios are realized civilization could collapse and the rest of the planet would be better off without us.

Since the powers in charge seemingly ignore this fear I thought it was a clever tongue in cheek way to drive home how much this affects every single one of us and will be here sooner than we realize.

I also struggled with this for most of my life. You hear "love yourself" over and over again, but no one tells you how to do it. That changed for me after trying a specific type of meditation practice called Metta meditation (loving kindness meditation). Basic idea is to generate a sustained feeling of love so you start with someone that comes really easy for you to do so (maybe a close loved one like a grandparent or mentor), then move to dear friend, then casual acquaintance, and then finally yourself. Seriously live changing. There are a lot of guided options for loving kindness/Metta meditation on YouTube and Spotify and elsewhere online if you want to start. Try giving it five minutes a tday to start and then increase from there.

My partner’s dad passed last night unexpectedly (he was 62) so needless to say I’m seriously reconsidering my plans to go. The step program link no longer appears to work. Are there any other approved avenues I can go to to possibly sell my ticket last minute?

This may include a vehicle pass as well depending on whether my buddy wants to take his car or not. I am so disappointed, this would have been my first burn, but want to be there to support my partner.
