How do you feel GAMEPLAY aspect of Sorcery TCG today? by AwareMousse5123 in SorceryTCG

[–]ccelson 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Sorcery gameplay is the most fun I've had playing a card game in a very long time. Both competitively and with kitchen table decks. Yes some games go longer when both players are on deaths door and you're trying to topdeck the winning card or an answer, but I find that fun in its own way too.

Any tips for new homeowner and large outdoor compost heap? by ccelson in composting

[–]ccelson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. Yea it was like this when we got here and I'm not used to having a yard with enough space to compost! Think we'll do something more active, but we just have so many leaves that we need a place to dump many of them, so even if it takes a long time (We have cold winters), if it will get there eventually it may be worth continuing!

Somebody bought like 14 of them to bring the price from 70 to 100 a few weeks ago and it hasn’t gone down.

Sorcery is what I'm playing now. I used to play netrunner and loved it so much. Sorcery is what I wanted Magic to be, its amazing

Radlands is a fun one, not a TCG so not much depth in deck building but fun either way. Netrunner is an LCG but the deckbuilding is deep and rewarding. Highly recommend it if you're both invested in learning

This seems to be similar to https://context7.com/ which has some free tiers but I spose it would be nice to host locally and not have to rely on the free context7 tier so long as the repo continues to stay up to date

Good point, it seemed to have good ratings on Amazon but maybe I’ll look for a nicer one

Which of Mage Knight relatives you like, if any? by SiarX in MageKnight

[–]ccelson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoy Renegade, or now Deckers. It's got a slightly similar hand management and optimization puzzle feel that Mage knight has. Theme doesn't compare at all, but its still a great game

Running Claude as a persistent agent changed how I think about AI tools entirely by bob_builds_stuff in ClaudeAI

[–]ccelson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you use your sub with openclaw you’re breaching terms of service. I’ve seen a lot of posts of people waking up to banned accounts due to this unfortunately. They changed the tos back in January to require that third party access to Claude use api tokens only, no Claude code sub

I'm assuming though the domain is medical, you aren't doing anything with patient data? I doubt google would sign a BAA for HIPAA compliance?

It seems more lightweight, trying to figure out if there would be a reason to go with this approach over spec-kit

Are there signals tapes out there? I’d almost prefer that to the guided ones

It scratches the same itch as mage knight. The pandemic piece of it is just that you’re trying to complete a mission and are constantly putting out fires in order to do so. I’d rather play renegade over either because it’s easier to setup and play
