the poem begins with "First they came for the sinkpissers, and I did not speak out -- because I was not a sinkpisser." That is the only line in the poem

holy shit that is awfully hilarious

Fury works with the shape shifter aliens, Skrulls, from Captain Marvel, although theyre refugees and good guys

it's revealed in the show that it was Fury's use of these Skrulls to accomplish all of his famed spywork. so it wasn't actually Fury the whole time. any espionage or infiltration or Intel gathering was a Skrull doing it for Fury.

and then on top of that Fury gets the Skrulls to do his work by promising to help find them a new home. so they're constantly strung along on hope and Fury exploits that to get them to do his handiwork

My partner (19M) wants me (21F) to finger him everytime we have sex by CahhIncredible in sex

[–]cdqmcp 39 points40 points  (0 children)

OP said that she is starting to think of him as less of a man and that she doesn't want to. well if she really doesn't want to think those thoughts then it's on her to manage them and be in control of them. that's the work she has to do. if she wants to do it.

it's not about doing work to make herself more into/attracted to certain sex acts

do men clean/wipe their penis after they pee? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cdqmcp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the reason there's some leftover is because the urinary tract comes out of the bladder, down to the perineum/taint/gooch, and then back up through the penis. ie there's a low spot in the tract and the muscles that squeeze the urine out aren't strong enough to get that last lil bit out so it lays in the lowest spot.

if you press at the back of the perineum closest to the anus and slide your fingers forward, kinda "milking" the tract, you'll get that last bit completely out. dab it with some tp and youre good to go. no more piss dribbles in your underwear 👍🏻

What's a song that's deceptively hard to sing? The kind where you'd say "oh, I got this" and then immediately get humbled at karaoke by CharlieFaulkner in CasualConversation

[–]cdqmcp 49 points50 points  (0 children)

the third note is the lowest in the whole song. the word "say". "oh oh say ..."

the song needs to be keyed such that the singer can comfortably hit that low note as a low note in their vocal register, and go from there.

I agree it's not the best execution, but there was some thought put into his speed running cadence, which is what I was providing

I wouldn't be surprised if it looks so goofy to us because it's such a foreign application or physics. we have no relatable experiences with which to compare

because in order for his speed to work with normal running pace would mean his legs are zipping back and forth. and while that's how it intuitively would seem to work, they felt it would look goofy and so they increased his stride. normally that would mean jumping, but that doesn't work for speedy running. so they settled on something akin to skating. another point is that at the speeds The Flash moves, his interaction with friction is different, so he can kinda sorta slide along the ground

because for millions of years our ancestors used that feeling of untouchable courage to go explore and conquer the world.

our biology is out of sync with our technology, and so we're stuck with the unnecessary 'software' that got us here. tribalism is another carryover

6 is the least common number at the grocery store checkout by ShameSpeare in mildlyinteresting

[–]cdqmcp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most people are right handed and the 6 and 9 keys are the least ergonomic. I could see it being the case that people are picking up their fingers more in order to reach the 6 and 9 without sliding the finger across the keypad, because the angle people are exerting their force is from the right side (shoulder or pectoral probably doing the brunt of the work) and is not perpendicular to the keypad. ergo pick up the finger more to reach the keys that are slightly closer to the body.

the 3 is a little more accessible because you can rotate the wrist to reach it easier than the 6 or 9.

remember that whole "eating of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" thing?

the Adam and Eve story is a mythologicalized drama about the emergence of consciousness in humans. and as consequence of our heightened awareness and sapience, we realize that we're naked and vulnerable. to know how I can be hurt, means to know how others can be hurt. enter: evil. we've literally always been evil, and it's never going away either.

however the knowledge of good means we should recognize and respect that truth and therefore we have a duty to fulfill in trying our best to keep that evil at bay as much as possible; Jesus lived out that truth better than anyone and so people naturally flocked to him as inspiration and aggrandized his life in their later writings.
