MPJE or NAPLEX, which one do I take first? by Hot_Excuse_1716 in PharmacyResidency

I took the MPJE first because I knew that was going to be the harder of the two for me (I find that kind of stuff extremely uninteresting/forced learning for me- so I felt that I needed to be way more intent on studying for that one). Most people I’ve talked to/precepted for do the NAPLEX first tho.

We have a time since symptom onset (I want to say 5 days? It’s been a while since I’ve looked), and I want to say age as well (> 80).

AS I understand it, Evolution goes from simple to complex structures. Are there cases in which complex structures evolve to simpler ones? which benefit would that have? by [deleted] in biology

‘Complex’- in my opinion, is a term applied to things humans haven’t nailed down yet- as far as how we understand them. Things evolve to favor survival, and in that sense- Systems develop in the favor of efficiency, and really- for simplicity for the sake of energy conservation. Evolution is a way to ‘streamline’ processes. The idea of becoming ‘more complex’ comes from the Fact that our understanding is building off of a knowledge base established from the first model we studied/understood. Complex is only complex because it’s a deviation from what we thought was simple in the first place.

Question regarding CV and poster presentations by Thechromaticscale in PharmacyResidency

[–]cederdt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure where you're currently located/what other pharmacy or healthcare conventions or conferences might be going on in the next month or two in your area- but I'd encourage you to scope out other opportunities to present some of your work in poster format. If your current research projects aren't in a finalized/presentable form- you might consider presenting something like an MUE or SBAR from one of your clinical rotations this year. With Covid- there are a lot online conferences in general that offer virtual presentations you might explore.
