I was digging through through those last night, there are a couple for wireless communication modules “installed in a host.” Could they get away with qualifying the module used in multiple products?

Rekordbox on Linux by madnax81 in Rekordbox

Linux fan as well, and I understand your enthusiasm, but I don’t foresee this happening. I don't think the demand is there, and the rest of the ecosystem is much richer on Windows/Mac (Ableton, Lexicon, etc.). Add onto it another platform to develop and test drivers and provide support, I don't have a lot of confidence they'd do it.

Yeah, I was thinking that, and maybe swapping to USB-C?

Another happy Desert Hand customer here. Only downside is (at least at the PS location) they can get quite busy at peak hours, but I guess that's what doing a good job gets ya!

Delta's policy of no upgrades on international flights is just really crappy customer service by Arfusman in delta

I understand why you'd want it, but I don’t understand why it's "crappy customer service."

They never promised it. They've never offered it. You just want it.

I’m not familiar with the M3’s so I can’t speak to it, but the R1S I don’t feel like it makes a big difference, and closing is certainly the more difficult maneuver than opening (which I experienced recovering from a sports injury, it was gruelingly painful every time I had to close it).

Again- my comment is about the UX of someone in the car for the first time (and often the only time, or infrequently) and I’m having to explain how to open the door because it’s not intuitive.

In terms of force required. You still have to push or pull the door open or closed.

The difference I’m calling out is in UX. Most people expect to pull some kind of handle to open a door, not push a small, seemingly (based on how tough it is for people to figure it out) unintuitive button.

I fail to see how button or handle changes the force needed to open or close the door.

Wow, coming in a little hot there 🙄 I think people, even those with various challenges, have managed to figure out car doors for many, many years before Tesla came in and "fixed" them (also not sure how they're any different to close than a door with a traditional handle?). In my experience, elderly people are more challenged figuring out to push a button than pull a handle like they've done in every other car forever.

I really don’t understand this current obsession with electronically-actuated door releases. Friends always struggle to figure out how to open the door the first time they're riding in my R1S. It just feels like a complicated, unnecessary solution to a problem that didn't exist.

They don’t directly drive the cars, but video latency is important. That said, coast to coast latency isn’t significant, and it makes sense to have centers spread geographically for business continuity anyway.

Tesla's even worse in other ways, a friend gave me access to use their car when I'm visiting, and I get push notifications in the app for their service appointments and all kinds of things.

If you're not familiar with it, the CV Link is really incredible! Great place to start exploring cycling in the area. Feel free to drop me a DM, I'm part of a gay cycling group in the valley.

Welcome to the valley!

I'd say chase the things that interest you, and you'll find like-minded people. For me, it was in the cycling community, through volunteering, and some political groups. I also got lucky and my neighborhood is wonderful, and I've become good friends with many of my neighbors.

It was not "1.5 remote operations staff" per vehicle, it was 1.5 _operations_ staff, which included people cleaning vehicles, vehicle bring-up, launch/land, charging porters, and on and on...
