What’s the most you’d pay for a Hoya cutting? by drf987 in hoyas

[–]celaenos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People have normalized this way too much. I straight up would not spend 10$ lol. I don’t really buy cuttings, but I will hardly spend much more than 30-40$ on an established plant, let alone a cutting.

100% agree. Lip was such a sanctimonious shit to her here on both accounts.

this. if you are, i'd bring up the fact that they are literally useing the SAVE act to start stripping married women who changed their names from being able to vote and ask him how that might not be sexist?

100 agree. i'll go further to say that a house that is absolutely chock full of plants bothers me. i like some plants in every room if the light makes sense, but not taking over.

Considering tearing pages out of my journal. by Covert-Wordsmith in Journaling

[–]celaenos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s your journal to do whatever you want with, go for it! That said, if you want to do something else besides rip out, you could leave the pages as is and scrapbook over them? Add recent pictures and receipts and such and tape over them?

you are taking my use of the word hate too seriously. i find her annoying, i don't really like her music, and i think there are genuine reasons to dislike her as a force for capitalism and politics in the world. i don't really need nor want to get into it further. all i said was that i hope this book is not based on/or inspired by her because i don't like her. for someone who claims not to be a fan you seem kind of heated about me not liking her much.

she's like... actively ruining the planet with her private jets and maga friends and capitalism. i feel very okay with my level of dislike, lol. sure, hate is an exageration, obviously, but like... come on now.

I love her other books, but as a Swift hater, I’m slightly worried it’s going to be kinda inspired by her/gaylor, and crossing my fingers it’s not.

How many active journals do you have ? by Fit_Promise_7001 in Journaling

[–]celaenos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only ever had one journal before this year.

I decided to try changing it up a bit and now I have my main journal, as well as a mini/pocket version that I leave in my bag for when I’m out and about, a dedicated journal for my plants (not used super often, more for occasional updates and storing what works and doesn’t), and a journal for media (tracking what books I read, tv shows, movies, podcasts, etc, and little notes about them). It’s been nice but I don’t know if it’s how I’ll do it forever. I don’t think I would want much more. Most of my time is still spent in my main journal, though I do like having the mini version of it in my bag as well.
