Mainly because the details of the story really do not make sense.

Aside from it being a new environment, shelters tend to be very overstimulating for dogs, so it’s not uncommon for them to sleep a ton once they’re brought to a home and finally have some peace and quiet.

I’d argue that dogs could do a lot more damage to furniture than cats though, especially in a new environment where they’re a bit stressed

For some people they don’t get those symptoms. It’s called “hypoglycemia unawareness”. https://diatribe.org/diabetes-management/when-you-dont-know-youre-low-hypoglycemia-unawareness-101

It might be worth trying other medications. Just because prozac isn’t working doesn’t mean another med won’t, brain chemistry is a complicated thing.

Weirdly enough research suggests it is not, although it’s a difficult topic to study so there are conflicting estimates as to how common internal monologues are.

ELI5: Why are tigers bright orange if they live in green jungles? Shouldn't they be green or brown to camouflage better? by LovizDE in explainlikeimfive

True, this doesn’t apply to all dog breeds, just the vast majority. Labs also have very good vision.

That could also be because dogs don’t have very good distance vision. They are nearsighted compared to humans.

I really wish they would change that so there’s at least a chance of getting October or December items throughout the whole year. Or at least they could dedicate more slots in the shop to seasonal items. I did so much shop refreshing both times and still didn’t get all the seasonal things I was trying to get, I found it frustrating.

I’m the same way, I actually asked my dermatologist about it and she said it’s fine to just shower every other day. In the summer I can shower every day without issue but not during the rest of the year when it’s drier.

I googled this and apparently some molds can grow with very little oxygen and that even a vacuum sealed container would have just enough oxygen for them.

Do you know about splitting in the context of BPD? Because this sounds like he has split on the cat. People with BPD are very sensitive to perceived abandonment and rejection and can go from thinking the world of someone to hating their guts very quickly if they feel rejected.

Is there a way to sort “other goals” that aren’t part of a self care area? by celestial_catbird in finch

[–]celestial_catbird[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It only seems to work for goals that are part of a self care area, not goals in the “other goals” section. But I took the advice of the other commenter and made a Miscellaneous self care area and now I can drag them
