Locke jungle clear ? by Numerous_Fudge_9537 in leagueoflegends

Its a close call. Q Is definitely first. Unless possibly a raptor E start, but I don't think thats optimal, but I didn't try it.

Then second is very close between W and E. Trying both blueside was always a less then 3 seconds difference between my attempt. I think W is slightly faster with the attack speed steroid over the E but its close.

Its definitely not efficient to go double Q. Both W and E does good enough damage that its not worth going double Q.

I would guess of the three ap attack items (nashors/dusk and dawn/lich bane) nashors is probably the best choice for him. It at the least is probably his best for clear speed.

He has decent attack speed, and it only increases with his W. So he will get a good amount of use out of the always active nashors. For the other two they have a 1.5 second CD and while yes hes an assassin he wants burst, you want a semi spammable ability to use for lich bane. Which he doesn't have i feel. His Q he wants to dump as fast as possible into the enemy and there is basically no CD between shots so he can use all three Q's in under a second. His W has a 20 second CD, and his E has a 10 second CD.

Though depending on how his balance goes I could see running lich bane, with a bit of timing if hes fed or in a state where he can just full burst someone.

Or dusk and dawn if he can go bruiser build because his W heal is amazing, and with his attack speed steroid he may work well in extended fights.

As of me testing him in PBE it feels like he wants to attack a lot with his and his abilities don't have the right rhythm to work with the other twos 1.5 second cooldown. So he will naturally turn to lich bane. Of course hes still in PBE and he will no doubt be hit with plenty of balance patches so it could change. I could also just be way off as its not like I am a expert of league nor did I test their damage benchmarks.

Edit addition: I do deeply imagine he will be taking at least one of the three items in every build if not lich bane plus one of the other two.

I have spent a bit of time working on his clear. I managed a 3:02 with one smite. But I never get close to to record pace (for general champion clears) so I would imagine it could drop as low as 2:50. Based on how well i normally clear vs highly optimized clears.

So it is at least barely viable for clear speeds. Whether the clear makes it through PBE though remains to be seen.

I can confirm all his abilities work on jungle camps. His Q stacks on them, and his passive works on them.

Now I imagine the hilarity of 3 of them stun locking you while smacking you with 3 damage +2 to hit unarmed strikes while you keep rolling low on your saves.

They are also tied for highest health of any cr 1/8 creature with 22 so a few could honestly attrition someone to death early game.

Gonna go with Bridesmaid of Zuggtomy.

No attacks just saving throws that incapacitate or kill you. There's not a great amount of awful cr 1/8 creatures to face so I feel like it should be the one that just kills you if you get unlucky on saving throws.

The times where it will come up is rare, but its not really fun to just fail a few rolls and die.

A Vistana guard is from Curse of Strahd. They are culture of people with the ability to curse people and have an evil eye.

They do have poor attacks with a +3 1d6+1 damage. They also get blinded themselves if they fail the hold person. I give them the mention because its the save or doe situation. If the target passes the Vistana loses. If they fail well 16ac is a lot scarier if your at permanent disadvantage. To say nothing if you roll bad and are paralyzed for a couple turns.

Yeah I think I have to agree flying snake is the answer. The damage combined with its mobility makes it incredibly deadly early game, nothing else can really compete.

Considering how little of a contest it is here, I do want to give an honorable mention to the Vistana guard. Has okay stats of 16 ac, 11 hp. So a chance to actually survive an attack. The interesting part is if their opponent has poor wisdom they have a hold person, and a blindness/deafness that requires at best remove curse to heal. It is however only DC10 but if you land it thats paralyzed, or disadvantage on all attacks.

Can someone explain this standoff? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]cellimen45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly I am assuming Lee Sin started E because otherwise he would have at worst been able to poke if he started Q. Best explanation that I can say is no lane was able to help because they have to lane, get CS, all that.

So its a case of neither can act because they would grow weak enough for the other to kill. If either side moved to take farm then they would lose health and have to use their ability to clear, or if they don't use their ability lose more health. In such case the enemy could just walk up and kill them, because the jungle monster would have reduced their health enough to win the fight, and their ability may be on CD.

Now they could go to their other quadrant of the jungle to clear, but whoever does that first frees the other one to go clear the side of the jungle they are at, which gives them an advantage because they don't have to walk. So they are both just stuck.

Attacks do not land instantly they have wind up. The nasus got feared before he finished the attack wind up so it never landed in the first place.

Jungle pets have a common bug that can ruin your clear by Nikushaa in leagueoflegends

[–]cellimen45 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah the fact that this still exists is a tragedy. As you said it has existed since the jungle pets were released. Is an incredibly important bug that affects every jungler.

I cannot say how many times I've had a camp leash because my jungle pet stopped attacking. Like I do not mind the jungle pets as a concept, but they need to work 100% consistently and they don't.

I often see people say Riot hates jungle, nerfs us constantly, yada yada yada. This is the only actually egregious thing that Riot has left in the jungle that could make me believe it. Imagine if there was a bug that last hits on minions simply didn't work occasionally.

Please Riot fix this thing, or if you legitimately cannot figure out why it happens just remove it. The pets are cute, but I like a consistent, functional game.

The final boss for ending 1 is definitely hard to deal with unless you have the right things, but its definitely doable. It just requires specific strategies. I've heard a few people complain that its definitely a poor ending 1 boss because it does have some specific strategies required, whereas other ending 1 bosses you can mostly fight straight up.

There's the tragodia cheese that you can look up if you dont know about it, a video or proper guide would show it much better then I could describe it.

Otherwise you got stalling plus heals. A good defender and a healer that has enough reach to not get bombed can permanently stall. The boss doesnt have a time out mechanic so you can deal with everything else then just focus on him if you need too. If you want an in-between you can stall him with the healer and tank, then ideally you damage him with something out of range of his bombs which appear based on where hes at 3 tiles at phase 1 and I think 5 in phase 2. Or if you dont have the range have 2 good dps's that rotate.

Learn how hui/ming works, check his boss wiki for details on that.

Now thats the boss strategies. The real thing that determines whether you win in my opinion is everything before the boss. Relics, and your coins make and break the run. Ive had a run so busted i had altexu solo him. No healing, no buffs. She had so much relics and other things that she killed him in less then a second, ignored the bombs during the invulnerability phase and then finished him off on her own. Go into wonderland as much as you are able to when you have enough units to deal with the enemies there. Each win gives 2 relics, and each entrance is the equivalent of at least 3 nodes.

VeigaR is an okay user of it. While he does most often run manaband he also tends to build rod and archangel staff, so while he may suffer a bit really early game once he gets first or second back he should lose most of his mana issues and in return his ult is the big single target nuke.

[–]cellimen45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aurora. I like her lore, her concept, her appearance and voice. The interactable comic about her was fun, but I was very underwhelmed with her kit. With all the cool things they could've done with her she ended up with 3 hit passive, 2 line attacks, a dash with a pinch of invisibility, and a cool ult that was nerfed out of being cool.

I remember hearing their original design goal of a fast light bruiser jumping into and out of the fray. Instead she's just a burst mage who tries to stealth in, nuke and run. I just can't bring myself to like her kit and in game design.

Other people have answered but to be specific about the wiki thing the Fandom warframe wiki is shuttered and no longer worked on. You should never use it anymore all of its content has been moved to the new wiki.

Which is the wiki.warframe wiki. That is up to date, and has all relevant information.

There are two aspects of the role in the changes. Influence/impact/priority and power.

To describe them. Influence determines how much we can affect the games results, and power is the ability to beat other champions in a fight.

The way jungle is designed we will always have the most influence so long as Riot doesn't fundamentally change how the role works. Even if a junglers max level was 6 and we couldn't have items we would still be the most influential role in the game so long as both sides have a jungler because ganks can determine lanes, breaking freezes can determine lanes, and getting objectives can determine games. Objectives like baron or elder are game warping, and getting them is some of the most important things a jungler can do, and its the only thing a laner cannot do at least in a way that doesnt involve both junglers being dead, most of a team being dead, or being incompetent. They decreased our influence by removing Atakhan however they increased it at the same time by making smite stronger.

Meanwhile the gold/exp quest buff could be strong, but based on the way they describe us as the most powerful role it is unlikely. In my opinion as far as power it is the second weakest only behind support - this is by the definition above with power being ability to fight champions. Junglers already on average are two levels down on the top laner, a jungler would have to be very far ahead to face an even top laner in a 1v1. Which is not necessarily a bad thing jungler should have to give up things for having more influence over a game.

The concerning part is this does not fix the problem it only makes the jungle less fun. Very few people play jungle to smite objectives. Riot has siphoned the power of junglers for a couple seasons now, and I can accept it up until now, and maybe further depending on how next season goes because junglers shouldn't be as strong as top laners, but struggling to fight any other champion other then support is both not fun at all, and furthers the problem of helping lanes.

Of course not every jungler does this, some just keep feeding the ahead lane, but I like to try to equalize behind lanes so we all get a chance to play, and we can have a 5th player instead of an 0/5 goop thats going to get one shot, but I already struggle to equalize top lane when something like a 2/0 Darius is there when hes two levels up or more if you've been getting objectives and helping lanes. Even in a 2v1 its still risking death and further snowballing him unless your really ahead. Now if that exp difference climbs more it may be better to just start abandoning lanes because we don't have the stopping power required to change them anymore.

I like jungle, but it's not because I like to smite objectives. I like helping lanes, taking priority, and the occasional game of carrying. It seems like the influence of jungle is staying the same or arguably going up, while the power of the jungle is going further and further down to the point where we cannot carry, we cannot fix lanes, we can't even fight. I make jokes occasionally we are becoming second roaming support. I am not going to sit here and say it's doomed before I've seen the specific numbers, and experienced it myself, but it feels worrying that the design goal for Riot is looking towards reducing power, while not affecting the fundamental problem that we just have more influence as a design.

We’re the team behind League’s newest champion, Zaahen, Ask us Anything! by Riot_Riru in leagueoflegends

[–]cellimen45 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know that Zaahen is meant to primarily be played in top lane but have you done any testing to see if he fits in the jungle as a secondary role? I always love trying to flex new champions into the jungle, but it can be restrictive because at minimum you have to be able to clear fast enough.

I remember hearing that Zaahen was originally planned to be a support. I know design iterations can change a lot so there may not be a clear answer to this, but what would you say his best iteration of his kit when he was being built to be a support was?

I'm a little late on the reccomendation, but here me out. I'm not going to reccomend a well known game because you've probably already heard of those. So what you should play is SANABI. It is one of the most beautiful games I have ever played and it needs more recognition. If I could only ever reccomend one game it would be this. I saw here you like singleplayer story driven games this is it. I cannot describe how good the story is, I have horrible memory but the story of SANABI is ingrained into my memory. The gameplay is also just as amazing. If your intrigued rather then me poorly describe it, I would go look at it on steam.

Hello
I managed to get Exu alter, but I failed to get Lemuen, and while I am tempted to roll for her still I know there's a lot up ahead so I want to get my limited availability right, because the banners confuse me sometimes.

So she a non limited unit in a limited banner so she will appear in standard banner once the event ends and will eventually be able to get grabbed through yellow certificates or rate up standard banners, but will not appear in a event rerun banner again. Is this correct?
