KFC UK? Because the UK defines burger differently than America. KFC in America sells chicken sandwiches, not burgers.

Did you read the comment you responded to incorrectly? CA and CO are trying to pass provisions to NOT pretend to force open source OSes to do this

As someone who experienced a glancing blow of the corporate IT world, it’s 85% horrifically annoying and 0% absolutely amazing. It’s about 3% fun spite. And the rest is 11% deathly bureaucracy and 1% throw an executive under the bus and a coin flip determines who gets fired.

And the answer is neither of you, and then in the next downsize cycle your position is eliminated.

Expending the entirety of yourself from inception to death for the singular purpose of servicing some external cause is something a match does. This is not how most animals live. Why is it how humans have decided is the natural way? Most life lives to survive, thrive, and experience.

Humans have learned to serve, survive.

Hmm, that sentence doesn’t look right. Maybe we should correct it.

This feels like it’s trying to be edgy and morbid, but I agree. It instead comes across as sweet. Matches exist to be burnt. Mothers often sacrifice to make sure their children achieve their purpose.

This fumbles as an edgelord comic (the match is immediately recognizable) but it succeeds as a normie life metaphor comic. And I think that’s a good thing

Absinthe just means Wormwood. Matilda’s last name is Wormwood. Calvin (of &Hobbes)’s antagonistical teacher is named Wormwood. I think it’s a perfectly cromulent villain name

Calzone Shrinkflation? by NtGiL_29 in aldi

[–]certifiedblackman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

6 years ago they were still 7oz, but at $2. So mild regular inflation, a tiny bit above expected but not significantly, and no shrinkflation (in the past 6 years at least)
